All Aournd Hints: Volume II |
Welcome Again! Well, let's get right to work.
Table o' contents
1.Save your ball
2.Up, up and away
3.Intermission
4.Get this!
5.Starting Pokemon
6.Ultra Easy Prizes
1.Save your ball
When you get to the cave of origin, beat Maxie, and get to Groudon, if you can, save your master ball for Latias or Rayquaza. It is much harder to catch it, (I mean after you just beat Maxie, who's pretty tough) but it will be even tougher to catch the others. Just a suggestion.
2. Go to the Space Center in Mossdeep City. (You might want to wait for a loooooooonnnnnnnngggggg time.) Go to the guy at the window in the white lab coat on the 1st floor. If he says that's launch #56-99, you get to go catch a rare pokemon in space. If he says that's launch number 100+,
you get to catch a rarer Pokemon, but be careful, if you ask one and he says a number below 56, he'll never say a higher number, ever.
3. Intermission
4. Get this!
When you first start out, catch a Shroomish. It's effect can stun or poison a foe at touch, it already knows stun spore, and I think it already knows leech seed and absorb. But, oh, there's more. At level 16 or 17, it learns Mega Drain. Here's an exellent strategie. If you're in a battle, use leech seed first. Then use Stun Spore. After that, use Mega Drain. It's almost unbeatable.
5. Startng Pokemon
Here's the 411 on the starting Pokemon.
Mudkip: Easy at beginning, gets tougher
Torchic: Hard at beginning, gets easier
Treeko: Same toughness throught game
Using this, it will help you decide what your starting Pokemon.
6. Ultra Easy Prizes
Go to the trick house (north of Slateport) and do the challenges that follow. Do it correctly, and the man in the back will give you a prize. I think you can eventually win an ultra ball.
Well, that's it. Keep your eyes out for a special segment devoted to Pokemon type pros and cons.

All Around Hints: Volume I |
Hello. Now here's how this will work. Like a book, O.K.?
Table of Contents
1.Time Savers
2.Elite 4 Strategies
3.Intemission
4.Fire Qualities
5.Water Qualities
6.Grass Qualities
1. Time Savers
Don't waste your time looking for Pokemon like seviper, lunatone, or bannet. They can only be found on Sapphire Version. Also, don't look for pokemon like bulbasaur, squirtle, charmander, etc. For them you have to find a friend who has Red, Blue, or Yellow Versions. There are many Pokemon you cannot get.
2. Elite 4 Strategies
Well, here are some good Pokemon types to have when on the Elite 4.
Guy #1...................Ground/Fighting
I would use Groudon and Meticam.
Guy #2...................Fire/Grass
I would use Groudon and any tough Grass type.
Guy #3...................Fire/Electric
Something like Groudon and Electrode
Guy #4...................Water/Ice/Dark
Get a strong Garaydos and teach it a dark move if you can along with a strong water attack like surf.
Champion.................Combo of all
Like stated above, there is no strategy for him, but I would definitely train some tough Pokemon.
Intermission...
4. Fire Qualities
Fire is good against grass, steel and ice, why I would use them in the Elite Four. Their weakness are water.
5. Water Qualities
Good against fire and rock. Use in Elite four (at least I would). Bad against Electric. No questions asked.
6. Grass Qualities
A little advantage over water and ghost(It's probably good against dark types too). It's weak against fire(I mean WAY weak.)
That's all till next time!
|
|
|
Don't waste your time trying to find Pokemon like Seviper or Lunatone. They can only be found in Sapphire Version, so trade with a friend. Also, alot of the Pokemon you'll have to trade with a friend who has Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, or Christal, such as venasaur, gastly, abra, squirtle, charmander, Etc. Etc. Etc. No body likes to waste time, and that's why I made this production. Thank you, you've all been realy great tonight!
(Applause(This means you))
No, but seriously folks, airline food, what's the deal with that stuff? But, back to the point, um, Why didn'y they Include Pokemon like Cubone or Marawack? (My two favorites from Red, Blue, and Yellow versions) But at least they included Zangoose (Route 114), who is cool. But, I like this crowd...
(Applause)
Well, back to the subject. Here's a little tip for the Eleat 4. Here's the type of pokemon I suggest having with you:
1st Guy..........................Fighting
2nd Guy..........................Fire/Grass
3rd Guy..........................Fire/Electric
4th Guy..........................Water/Ice
Champion.........................All types
(Remember, you're Pokemon have got to at least be at level 57 each, if you even want a sporting chance.)
(More applause)
Well, here's a little reminder for if you haven't caught Groudon yet, then we'll wrap it all up till next time. Don't use you're master ball (found at Magma hideout or won in lottery), wait to use it on Rayquaza, he's WAY tougher. I would suggest a few Ultra balls used on Groudon. Well, that's it for now, later!
(Still more applause)
|
|
Alot Of Pokemon In The Safari Zone |
For water pokemon, surf in the lake and use your rod. That way you can get as many as you want as long as you have enouph balls. For other pokemon, get a pokemon that knows sweet sent and stand in any grass patch and use it, that way you also can get as many pokemon that you have balls forand you won't have to leave until you run out of balls.
|
|
Altaria (other Than Evolution) |
Found at the Sky Pillar.
|
|
Amulet Coin |
After you finish your dad's gym at Petalberg city,go back to your house at littleroot town and talk to your mother.your mom will be overjoyed seeing that badge and will give you an amulet coin.
|
|
|
In order to get Anorith or Lieep, you need to have the Go-Goggles. Go to the desert, then move all the way to the right from the top. You will see two fossils, One contains anorith (the claw fossil) and the other one is Lieep. Anorith evolves into Armaldo, the Pokemon Steven has. Lieep evolves into Cradily, which Steven also has.
|
|
Another Way To Get A Crobat |
Find a low level Zubat and train it to level 58 and make sure you keep it the first pokemon in your party and boom you've got a Crobat!
Note: if your Zubat does not evolve by level 58 just keep leveling up your Zubat, thank you. |
|
Ash Steps |
On Route 113 there are exactly 287 steps in the ashes and 16 steps coming down the Jagged Pass. You have to go through the whole of Route 113 a little over 60 times to get everything(that's not including quick walk throughs just to get through).
|
|
|
Some people get mad when pokemon use sand-attack or other attacks that makes accuracy lowered. But do you know playing pokemon is like the real thing? This cheat is kinda like this. When a pokemon use an attack that lowered your accuracy, stop and wait. If you wait long enough, attack then it will strike.
Your pokemon may miss if the opponent use sand-attack more than 7times.
|
|
Azurill |
When you get the Sea Incense from Mt. Pyre, breed two Marill (male and female). Give the female Marill the Sea Incense and put the two Pokemon in the Daycare Center. When you get the egg, you will get only male Azurills. If you gave the Sea Incense to the male Marill, you will only get female Azurills.
|
|
Bagon |
Bagon is the first stage of Salamence (Dake's best Pokemon, which is Dragon and Flying type). You can find it in the smallest room in Meteor Falls. On the rectangular piece of land, you will find TM02 (Dragon Claw), which gives Attack 80 and Accuracy 100. Bagon evolves into Shellgon, then into Salamence. Salamence is like a fire dragon; cannot learn water attacks, but can learn Flying, Fire, and Dragon attacks.

Base Stats Faq |
BASE STATS FAQ
Hello again, here's another faq I forgot to wright; It's called "Base Stats." Well, what are base stats? Here's your answer:
There's another system you would need to know, one less hidden, but equally
important nonetheless, and that is base stats.
You know, some Pokemon are made to do certain things. Their base stat says
so. For example, Alakazam simply can NOT attack physically, and the opposite
can be said for Rhydon. That's because their base stats say so.
Every species of Pokemon has a set of base stats, and these determine just
how high a stat would go. For example, Alakazam's base stats:
HP: 55
ATT: 50
DEF: 45
SPD: 120
SA: 135
SD: 85
Notice the absurdly high base for speed and special attack. This means that
you can pump EVERYTHING to boost Alakazam's attack, but it'll still suck
compared to it's SA because Alakazam's attack just sucks. There is no way you
can change it, just like there is no way to change the fact that Snorlax is
plain slow.
Alakazam, lv.100, with max IVs, ADAMANT (+ att, - SA), and max attack EVs:
Att: 218
SA: 275
See, even with you putting EVERYTHING into attack, it's SA still outshines
attack by a large chunk.
Now let's see a special oriented zam.
Lv.100, max IVs, MILD (+ SA, - def so attack is not lowered), max SA EVs.
Att: 136
SA: 405
Sorry, Alakazam will ALWAYS be a special sweeper.
It's important to understand that base stats play a part in determining what
roles Pokemon play. You might like to see Alakazam using Slash, but that won't
cut it. So, your decisions for Pokemon will always depend on a Pokemon's base
stats.

Be Better Than Your Rival |
This will only work if you have 2 DC's and 2 Games. (Or you use a friends) Start the game and get the starter pokemon you want. Then trade it to your other game and restart your game. Then if you got the fire type, get water this time, if you got water, get grass, if you got grass, get water. Now trade back the starter pokemon you got earlier. Now your rival will have the opposite type pokemon as you so you will have an advantage and hey, you get to starter pokemon. |

|
ok..ok (follow these steps for the begin glitch)....stop where u r.. save and turn off your GBA,GBA.SP then turn it back on.........(at the begining of the game if u picked a girl this is a better way to do it). keep turning it on,off,on,off until a latias is flying insted of a latios and u will be a boy............Continue your game and look in your (pokedex) and scroll down to where latios is usually, but insted of latios there will be a latais in its place.. and it will show that u dont have a latios.
|
|
Beldum |
After you defeat Steven (the champion), go to his house in Mossdeep City. Read the book (Letter) on the table. It says to take the Pokeball. It contains a Beldum, at level 5. It is a Steel/Psychic type that knows Take Down.
|
|
Berries Tips |
When you pick a berry off a tree put back a berry in the soil you got it from so you can keep getting berries.
|
|
Berry Blender: Speed Up |
Instead of pressing A once, press it several times on the first turn. You can get up to 40 RPM on the first turn if done correctly. After that, keep double hitting on every turn until about 80 RPM, where it gets too fast. This should increase speeds phenomenally. It is possible to get up to 150 RPM in three player on the first hut, with Laddie and the old man.

the bst moves for flygon are-
fireblast
solarbeam
dragonclaw
and earthquake
the best moves for blaziken are-
blazekick
fireblast
flamethrower
and another move of ur choice
the best moves for absol are
thunder
fireblast
blizzard
and either thunderbolt, icebeam or flame thrower =]
enjoy ^ ^
|
|
Best Moves For Blaziken |
I think that the best moves for blaziken are:
Flamethrower
sky uppercut
double kick
and blaze kick |
|
Best Moves For Rayquaza |
Rayquaza's best moves are Surf, Flamethrower, Thunder, Hyper Beam. These moves are great because if there is a fire/rock pokemon, use Surf, if there is a water/flying pokemon, you can use Thunder, if there is a bug/grass pokemon, you can use Flamethrower, and if there is a diffrent type of pokemon, blast it with Hyper Beam. Since Rayquaza starts at Lv. 70, the moves are already ultra powerful. |
|
Best Moves For Swampert |
I think that the best moves for Swampert are:
Surf - Powerful because Swampert is a Water type too.
Earthquake - Very powerful attack, effective against electric and steel type.
Strength - Quite good, and works well on all types.
Ice Beam or Blizzard - If Swampert learns this move, then he will be no more vulnerable to grass or dragon type. Effective against flying type too.
Therefore, your Swampert will be undefeatable. |
|
Best Starting Pokemon |
I would suggest Mudkip, because its a strong water pokemon and when its in stage 2 and 3 its unstopable(unless theres a grass type). These are some of its strong and weak points.
Fire-unstopable
Water-fair
eletric-unstopable
grass-no chance
Ice-fair
Recommended moves:
Muddy Water-Fire,Ground,Rock
Brick Break-Rock,Ice,Dark,normal,
Earthquack-Rock,posin,Fire,electric
Ice Beam-ground,flying,Dragon
|
|
|
What I think are the best moves for Blazikan are double kick, flamethrower, slash, and fire blast.
|
|
Blaziken Best Moves |
Blaze Kick
Brick Break
Mirror Move
Sky Uppercut
mirror move is good because if your opponent uses something like fly, u can just use mirror move so u wont get hurt....fly does alot of dammage to blaziken so this is good |
|
Blaziken Recommended Moves |
I think that the best moves for Blaziken are Sky Uppercut, Blaze Kick, Fire Blast, and Flamethrower.
|
|
Blaziken: Recommended Moves |
The best moves for it are Blaze Kick, Brick Break, Bulk Up, and Sky Uppercut.
|
|
Blue Electrike |
The only place that you can find a blue electrike is to go to slateport city and head north. then they're should be a grassy area on the left. so now start searching for it.
|
|
Blue Torchic Or Green Torchic |
To get a blue torchic u must do the foloing but if you want a green torchic just skip this part... To get a blue torchic start out with a girl trainer and make her name a. Then blah blah blah you get a torchic when you fight that pokemon attacking prof. birch then after it goes up 1 lvl it should turn blue. For a green torchic get a boy and name him ? then when you get ur torchic
and it goes up 1 lvl it should turn green! Note: this cheat works about 99% of the time. |
|
|
To get bonus berrys go to the berry masters house and talk to his wife about good sayings when she asks you for one type in:
Super hustle for the Belue Berry
Cool latios for the Durin berry
Challenge contest for the Pamtre Berry
Great battle for the Spelon berry
Overwhelming Latias for the Watmel berry
Note: You can use one code a day.
|
|
|
you will need: wailord, relicanth, surf, dive, fly, strength, dig
1.go to pacifidllog and surf west. you encounter some dangerous currents so stick to the bottom of the screen for a while
2. find an area of deep water (not the one surrounded by rocks, even if you have walk through walls on it will not take you anywhere) and dive down.
3. you are now swimming down an underwater tunnel (i don't get it, why don't you run out of air?) so keep going until you reach the area where theres dots on the wall. it is actually a braille code and if you can't be stuffed to look up what it means, it says: GO UP HERE. so, facing the dots, resurface.
4. you will find a large room with the braille alphabet etched on large boulders. continue to the end of the cave, where it says: DIG HERE. so use dig.
5. it is really cool to read what these small six or so tablets say but they don't do anything. so go to the very end of the passage and you see written in braille: FIRST COMES RELICANTH, LAST COMES WAILORD
so you have to have relicanth first in your party and wailord last. you hear three distant clicks. like some doors have been opened.
now you have unlocked them, you can go to the rocks where they are hidden in.
for regice:
go to dewford and surf north-west. you should encounter a ruin maniac on an island. if you do, your on the right track. surf a little further north-west and you encounter a large rock surrounded by six smaller rocks. the large rock now has a cave entrance. go inside and you find another braille code. it says: STOP AND WAIT. WAIT FOR TIME TO PASS TWICE. or something along the lines of that. so, just leave your GBA on and wait for like two minutes, just be patient. the cave opens and you can enter in to battle regice.
for registeel:
go to fortree and go east, then south. keep going until you're past the rainy feild of very tall grass and go LEFT, then go up when you see berry bushes and a random person walking randomly next to them. keep going past the water and into the patch of tall grass past the ninja who is hiding behind a piece of cardboard. then it starts raining. there is a ruin maniac here too! well, now the large rock surrounded by six smaller rocks is open, you can enter into it.
the braille says: WITH NEW TIME, HOPE AND LOVE, AIM TO THE SKY IN THE MIDDLE. so go to the center of the cavern and use fly. the cave opens and you can enter in to find registeel.
for regirock:
go to the sandstorm place the ruin maniac is running tirelessly around a rock to the south. now go down as far as you can. you will find a large rock with six smaller rocks surrounding it (like the others). now enter. the braille says, RIGHT, RIGHT, DOWN, DOWN, THEN USE STRENGTH.
so go right two spaces, the down two spaces and use strength.
these pokemon are ultra-powerful, so come prepared for a tough battle!

Charizard Movesets |
it PIdgeotPro speaking here... and its time to give charizard some suggested movesets on display!
physical charizard:
charizard @salac berry/leftovers/chesto berry
"bellyzard"
belly drum
overheat OR rest
earthquake
rock slide
charizard is one of the very few physical attackers that doesn't mortally fear skarmory and forretress. in GSC, it was probably the best user of belly drum (the others who learned the move were too slow to pull it off properly). now it is rivalled a little bit by linoone in that area, but its still cool. belly drum is sometimes even considered safer than swords dance on charizard. swords dance takes up three turns to set up to the level that your attack stat would be if you used one belly drum. by that time, you would have lost quite a bit more than half of your health (i'm sorry to say it, but charizard's defenses are mediocre and there are a ton of water and rock pokemon/attacks out there). but if you want you can put swords dance over it. remember you need to breed with a male snorlax to get belly drum!
obviously if you choose rest over overheat (which was put there specifically to deal with skarm and forry), then give him chesto berry. only put rest on him if (and thats a big 'if') you know your opponent does not use skarm, forry etc. since those are the things that physical attackers/stat uppers have most problems with. neither skarm nor forry have any physical weaknesses, and in GSC skarm was one of the three pokemon that could survive marowak's swords danced + thick club's hit AND be able to roar it away; i think it would make short work of a charizard without a fire move. i suggested overheat because it is the only move that char has that uses the special attack; and you would only use it once (since it most likely one-hit-KOs skarm and forry, and your oponent usually wont have both/two of the same).
the last two moves are simple attack moves that make use of charizard's now over-swollen physical attack stat. nothing resists both except for flygon and claydol. feel free to replace one or the other with aerial ace for STAB, though a STABed aerial ace (which goes up to base 90) wont do as much as earthquake (base 100 w/o STAB), and does the same as rock slide.
(for those who dont know, STAB stands for Same Type Attack Bonus. if you are using an attack that is the same as your type, you get a 50% bonus.)
Special charizard:
Charizard@petaya berry
sunny day
substitute
flamethrower
dragon claw
i think i've already mentioned this one before... you sunny day. then you substitute until you are on 25% health or less; just enough to activate blaze and petaya berry. hopefully by that time the sun is still shining brightly. then flamthrower blasts everything away save for types that are pointedly resistant to it and/or have exceptional special defense (hi blissey). sunny day gives a 50% boost to your fire attacks (while at the same time giving you some protection from water attacks), and blaze gives you a 50% boost while your health is in the red, petaya gives a 50% boost to your special attack stat when your health is in the red too, and STAB will give a 50% boost no matter what your health is. Ok, lets add up. flamethrower is base 95. +50% = 142.5 with STAB. add to that another 50% for blaze (its now 213.75). add another 50% because of the weather (its now 320.625). finally, add another 50% because of the petaya berry raising your special attack. it ends up as 480.9375, which the game should round to 481. few pokemon can survive a 481 base power flamethrower coming from charizard's gigantic special attack - which (as some people keep forgetting i.e. my friend at school) is even higher than charizard's attack. dragon claw will land at least a normal-effective hit on anything that flamethrower is not-very-effective against.
special charizard2:
charizard@white herb
overheat
dragon claw
filler
filler
like almost any other fire pokemon, it can use the overheat + white herb combo. pretty safe; as long as you dont run into something with intimidate. you'll be able to fire off at least two full powered overheats before having to use one thats at a lower power yet still half-decent one. if that happens, switch out to reset your special attack to what it was before.
i keep seeing blast burn on charizard. IMHO, blast burn (and hydro cannon and frenzy plant) is overrated. we dont really need another hyper beam, since hyper beam itself isn't all that good anyways. plus, if you have blast burn on charizard you cant have egg moves or get charizard thoroughly-bred for decent IVs because you can only tutor the original char that you got from professor oak.
hmmm, i think i've missed out on a couple working and intelligent charizard movests, so... that's your cue, chariZard! if you want to list some more movesets for charizard that arent mentioned here already, go ahead!
so long, everybody!

Cradily |
Go up from Mauville until you reach the desert which will be Northeast to you. Carry on going Northeast over the desert until you reach in the trop right and corner, two fossils. You can pick one up and then the other one will disappear. Once you have picked up the fossil, go to rustboro city.Go north from the pokemon centre. On your left, at the top of rustboro city you'll see a big palace. It has two large doors on either side. Go inside it. Go all the way East then up North and up the stairs. The first row of computers that you face, there will be a man who likes fossils. Go down to him.Once you have spoke to him, just mess about in that room for a bit. About 2 minutes late go and speak to him again. He'll say thank-you for waiting. You have to make sure you have an empty space in your 6 pokemon list. He will give you a pokemon called lileep. Evolve that into Cradily. Cradily is a rare fossil type pokemon. That fossils turn into it. The Pokemon champion has it as his 3rd pokemon. Enjoy the strenght of it!

Deoxys & Jirachi |
To get Deoxys and Jirachi without having to get 'Promotions' and 'Game Sharks' you have to do this. Get all 8 badges. Then press start (go to menu) and go to your Trainer card. If you look next to your name you'll notice that you have a small yellow star there. Well to get Deoxys and Jirachi you need five and to get five you need to do special things. So far I've found out that you have to:
*Get all 8 badges
*Get full Pokedex(200 pokemon)
*Beat Master rank in all contests
|
|
|
You cannot get Jirachi and Deoxys during the game. They are given away through a Nintendo event, much like Mew and Celebi were in previous Pokemon games.
|
|
Dewford Gym |
When you enter Dewford gym, it is very dark. To make it lighter you have to battle trainers. But I found a way where you only have to battle one trainer. First, take a right. Then go up. Next go left. it should bring you to a wider hall. Follow it to the top and turn right. Follow that passage and it will take you to brawly, the gym leader.

Duskull is very easy to catch. You can find it next to Lilycove city. You can also find it in Mt.Pyro or outside of it in the grass. Duskull is only common on Ruby, and rare to find on Sapphire.

To defeat the elite four easily make sure you have a
level 96 or higher swampert, and teach it the following
moves...
surf(hm3)
strength(hm4)
Use strength on grass types, and use surf on all the other types. Also make sure you have a few ppups and a few super
potions. Whenever your swampert is attacked use a super potion. You will never even have to switch.
|
|
Easy Lottery Win |
Save your game in front of the Lilycove Department Store. Go inside and enter the lottery. If you don't win, turn off and on again and try again. The numbers will change! |
|
|
The easy way to beat the elite four (and the champion) is this:*(You need to have you pokemons in level 40 at least to make this guide work)*
The first elite uses dark-type pokemon, a fighting-type pokemon (I used Medicham) ,or a bug pokemon are the best for him.
The second is a ghost-type user, you need a dark-type and some other pokemon that attack special defence, because she have a Sableye(ghost-dark-type), so don't use a psychic-type.
The third uses ice-type, I recomend to use a fighting-type (if you used a fighter whith the first elite you can use the same pokemon),or a pokemon that knows fire-type moves and electric will work too.
The last elite uses dragon-type, so a pokemon who knows ice-type-moves will work the same than someone who knows dragon-type-moves (don't use a dragon if you want a easy battle).
And The gran finale, The Champion, he uses steel-type pokemon but he uses a rock-bug, and a rock-plant so a fire pokemon combined with a water-type pokemon will give you the victory, or you can use a pokemon with both type attacs.
If you have these type pokemons you will win before you can say easy.
(I know almost everything about this game if you need help found me and thats all)

Evolving Feebas |
When Feebas get full beauty and you lv it, it will evolve into Milotic.
Important:
In order to max beauty, you need Pokeblocks and the Pokeblocks that increase beauty is Indigo and Blue.
Not to do:
Do not feed Feebas Pokeblocks that doesn’t increase beauty at all reason is because there is a limit where Feebas cannot eat anymore Pokeblock and its forever unless you get a new one.
Best berry:
Pamtre berry is the best beauty berry for Pokeblock each berry made different rank Pokeblock and Pamtre make A rank Pokeblock which increase a lot beauty. You can get it from berry master the old women in a house at around route 123 if I am not wrong. But do not make it into Pokeblock after you get 1.its best you plant and get more of it because 1 Pamtre Pokeblock is not enough to max the beauty. Keep on multiplying until you get a lot and finally make it into Pokeblock.(better if you save 1 Pamtre berry just in case)and max Feebas beauty and give it a rare candy and it will evolve into Milotic.
Good thing about Milotic, if you let it go to beauty contest you will win easily just like a piece of cake as there’s 1 time when my Feebas got a lot of beauty haven’t maxed I only used tackle in the beauty contest and I won because of my beauty level and I believe Milotic got a lot of beauty skill and maxed beauty winning beauty contest will be easy.
It’s hard to hunt Feebas took me 6 days and also evolve it, it take a lot of time so don't give up.
I’m making a guide about how to plant berry soon to just in case if you don't know how to plant Pamtre berry.
Hope you like my guide. :O

Feebas |
Feebas can only be found on Route 119, and is very hard to find. Feebas only appears in six tiles on the route. The tiles are random, depending on the popular phrase you used in Dewford. Catching this Pokemon requires a lot of time and patience. However, when evolved into Milotic this Pokemon is very useful. To capture Feebas try using "Mudkip Ball" as your popular phrase in Dewford. Later it turns to "Natural Flowers". Wait until "Natural Flowers" is the popular phrase or attempt to change it yourself. To find Feebas, get to Route 119. Start at the bottom and move north. Stop at the first little lake, immediately after the large patch of tall grass, and go as far left on the lake shore as you can. Surf, move one tile north, and fish with a Super Rod. Note: The tile locations may vary from game to game.

You can find Jirochi in tall grass. It will take a long time though.

Ok people! I FINALLY found a gameshark code for catching Jirachi! The code should work only on route 101 and you have to wait a while looking in the grass for it, but the code that I and all of you pokemon fan's want is 514BB137 3E2DEC8F. Once again 514BB137 3E2DEC8F. Happy catching!

Geodude |
You should get a Geodude at Dewford early in the game, when you are trying to give Steven his mail. When you get to Slateport, go up to the grass and get him to level 25. It should know at least one Ground move, one Rock move, and some others. After you defeat Team Magma/Aqua, go to Mauville (defeat May/Brendon) and challenge Wattson, the gym leader, immediately. Keep using Magnatude to win. Geodude is also a good choice because it is strong against the next three gym leaders; Flannery (Fire leader), Norman (Normal leader; your dad), and Wiona (Flying leader).

Get A Super Combo
By: ChariZard
Note: Sorry, my PC has been weird lately. So I can't log in.
Okay, to get your super combo, you need to do simple things. First, catch a Nincada. Train it 'till Lv.19. Now go to the Pokemon Center. Desposit one of your Pokemons into your Box. Now go back into your training place then train Nincada 'till Lv.20. It'll evolve. But when you look into your Party, you see Ninjask and Shedinja. Those Pokemons are needed for your combo. Train both of them, so they can become strong enough. Now when your done, check out they're movesets.
Ninjask@Leftovers
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance
- Silver Wind
Now Ninjask has a Ability which increases his Speed at the end of each and every turn.
1- Substitute (If you Substitute fades, use Substitute)
2- Swords Dance when your in Substitute
3- Baton Pass when you have used Swords Dance 3 times.
Switch to Shedinja.
Shedinja@Leftovers
- Shadow Ball
- Silver Wind
- Toxic
- Confuse Ray
When you have switched. You are supposed to have a Shedinja on Substitute. If you don't, then you're not doing what I am telling.
1-Shadow Ball 'till the opponent's Pokemon dies

Here are some reccommended contest movesets:
Tough contest: any fighter that uses these moves in this
order: bulk up, rock smash, bulk up, rock smash, and brick break/earthquake
Beauty contest: my favourite is ninetales with these moves: flamethrower, fire blast, flamethrower, fire blast, and hyper beam
Cute contest: Barboach or whishcash that has mud sport, water sport, mud sport etc.
Cool contest: another sea king with fury attack, horn attack, fury attack, peck, and (finishing move)
Smart contest: ralts/kirlia/Gardevoir Calm mind, psychic, calm mind, Psychic, Destiny bond (you must breed a male pokemon with destiny bond to a female ralts/kirlia/gardevoir to get destiny bond)
Plus, there are nature that affect what type of pokeblock a pokemon likes:
Tough (sour): impish, lax, relaxed, bold
Cute (sweet): hasty, jolly, naive, timid
Beauty (dry): mild, modest, quiet, rash
Cool (spicy): Admant, brave, lonely, naughty
Smart (bitter): Calm, careful, gentle, sassy
neutral natures: these ones do nothing and the pokemon has no likes or dislikes: Hardy, Bashful, Quirky and serious.
AND, there are items that the pokemon can be holding to raise one attribute, but i forget where you find them (i think its given to you in slateport when your first pokemon as one maxed attribute, perhaps?)
red scarf: cool
green scarf: smart
yellow scarf: tough
blue scarf: beauty
pink scarf: cute

Blaziken Lv.87 or more- Blaze Kick, Double Kick, Sky Uppercut, any of your choice
Crobat Lv.85 or more- Bite, any other Dark moves
Kyrogre Lv.70 or more- Sheer Cold, Ice Beam, Surf, Hydro Pump
3 more of your choosing
These three are the only pokemon that I use to defeat the Elite 4 and Champion.
Blaziken's double kick(or sky uppercut) and blaze kick are enough to take out Sidney's Pokemon. Crobat's dark attacks will take out Phoebe's Pokeemon in a snap. Again you will use Blaziken against Glacia, his/her double kick or sky uppercut will knock each on of them out with one hit. You will use Kyrogre and it's ice beam to take out everyone one of his Dragon Pokemon. Then for the Champion (Steve), I use Blaziken's Blaze Kick on everyone of his pokemon except for Armaldo and Cradily I used Sky Uppercut.
This team has never let me down. I have beat the Elite 4 and Champion 12 times and still going.

Gorebyss And Huntail |
Get the scanner in the abandoned ship. Then, go to Slateport City. Go to the where the ferry is located and give the scanner to Mr. Stern. He will ask you to trade for his Deepseascale and the Deepsea Tooth. Choose either one of them, then give it to a Clamperl. This will raise its stats and allow it to evolve when traded. To get Gorebyss, give Clamperl the Deepseascale then trade it to a friend with a link cable. Then, have them trade it back to get Gorebyss. To get Huntail. give Clamperl the Deepseatooth and do the same thing.

Green Taillow |
To find green taillow keep walking around in route 116 and you will find it.

Grimer |
Found in the Fiery Path.
|
|
Groudon |
To find Groudon, go to the Cave Of Origin in Sootopolis City. It will be on Level 45 when you catch it. Groudon is a Ground type. Its ability is Drought and it summons Sunlight in battle. Its attacks are Slash: (Power 70, Accuracy 100), Bulk Up (Power -, Accuracy -), Earthquake (Power 100, Accuracy100), and Fire Blast (Power120, Accuracy 85). You can only find Groundon in Pokemon Ruby.
|
|
Groudon Recommended Moves |
These are my Groudon's moves:
Solarbeam
Fire Blast
Earthquake
Eruption
These are my moves because since Groudon is a ground type, he is weak to water, grass, and ice(I'm pretty sure). Water can be taken with solarbeam(and because of Groudon's Drought abillity, which has the same effect as Sunny Day, solarbeam will not have to charge up). Grass and ice can be taken out with any of his fire moves. Earthquake is just a strong move(and since it is the same type as its user, it gets a 50% attack bonus)
|
|

GVs FAQ
*********
What are GVs? They are Gender Value. It has absolutely nothing to do with
stats, but rather the gender of the Pokemon. A Pokemon has a set number that
decides if they are male of female. One number out of 255 is chosen per
Pokemon. That determines the gender ratio. Then, another one is chosen, your
Pokemon's GV. If it is lower than the gender ratio's number, your Pokemon is
female. When higher, it's male. If your gender ratio is 255, then the Pokemon
has no gender. If it's 254, your Pokemon's always female. If it's 0, your
Pokemon will always be male.
Ex:
Pidgey's Gender Ratio is 127. Its GV will be random when you get it and not
changeable. If it's 126, just one number below 127, it's female. One number
above and it's male.
Some notes. A Pokemon with Gender can have a Gender Ratio of 0, but not 255.
A Pokemon's GV is random and you can't change it. Finally, nothing can effect
the GVs. They're all random.
*** END OF FAQ ***

This cheat only works with the visualboyadvance emulator and you'll need the pokemon ruby and pokemon sapphire edition (if you don't have them, you can mail me). the sapphire edition must be unused, so there must be no save game. What you need to do: defeat the pokemon league in Ruby without saving the game EVER, only use the file-save option or the F keys. WHen you defeated the elite 4 and the champion, it will save the game. then, open sapphire. you will see that the game is saved on the name you had in ruby and now you can catch lotad, lombre, sableye, seviper and lunatone, and you'll find shuppet and plusle easier. you can't catch kyogre, but the story remains the same. you can now catch latias instead of latios. all your previously catched pokemon will still be in your PC.

How To Get A Level 40 Regice |
First of all get lots of different kinds of pokeballs and catch a wailord and a relicanth. Once you've done that go to Pacifidilog town and go all the way south. Then surf west through the currents keeping south at all the times. I can't tell you the rest but when you reach a diving point dive down into it. Go south until you get to some dots on the wall. Go up to them and press B. When you get to the surface get onto the land and go all the way north to you get to that riggid wall. Use dig and it should open. Then put Relicanth at the front of your party and Wailord at the back. Leave it and it should say "You heard a door open far away" or something like that. Then get out of that place and fly to Dewford. Walk up north then surf west until you can go north. When you see a island with trees on it on your westgo on it. Cross the island and surf up north. There will be a little cave. Go into it and go up the wall and press A. Leave the dots on the screen for 1-2 minutes and it will open. Press A on the silver rock and prepare to catch a level 40 regiice.

How To Get A Lot Of Fans |
To get a lot of fans do these five things:
1. Beat the pokemon league.
2. Become the Battle tower champian.
3.Become the cable club battle champian. (In other words go to the pokemon center and to the upper level where you can battle your friends. You have to beat forsure one friend in the single battle mode, double battle mode, and the multi battle mode)
4. You have to win a battle in your secret base.
5. Beat the master rank contest mode.
Now you should have many fans. Also I'm pretty sure you get one star on your trainer card to get a different color card.

|
How To Get A Raichu |
When you get a Pikachu, it doesn't evovle by getting to a certain level. The only way to evovle a Pikahcu into a Raichu is to use a Thunderstone. You can get a thunderstone by finding a yellow shard and then give it to the Hunter near Mossdeep City.
|
|
|
To get a shedinja either trade with somebody that has one or, you should have an empty space your belt NOT your pokemon computer box inthe pokemon center, any ways like I was saying you should have an empty space in your belt when your nincada evolves at level 21 look in your belt and you'll new ninjask and shedinja.
|
|
|
There are two ways to get a Corsola. The easiest way is to catch a Gloom and evovle it using a Sun Stone. It will turn into a Bellosm. You get the Sun Stone in either Mossdeep City or Lilycove City, sorry I can't remember which one! But after that go to Pacifidlog Town and go to the house below the Pokemon Center. Talk to the lady standing by the pots (inside of the house) and talk to her. She will want to trade you her Corsola for a Bellosom.
The second way is to fish(with a super rod) around the big water fall that is near Ever Grande City.
That's all of the ways I know how to get Corsola so far!
Thanks

Feebas:
if you check the pokedex, you'll see that you can find it all up and down the path joining Mauville and Fortree (route 119). but when you surf/fish/walk in the grass, why do you not find it?
because you can only get it by fishing at an EXACT spot - the tile that your fishing rod is pointing to. there can be anywhere between one to six tiles where you find feebas, and they vary from game to game. also, i heard rumors that if you change the funky saying at dewford, the tiles change. on those tiles, the only thing you'll find is feebas, so just fish with an old rod to save time.
for those of you who have a gameshark, heres the cheat code:
11E58406 0C731B08
enter this and you'll find feebas on every tile of the water fishing at route 119
also, feebas (which looks remarkably like magikarp) will only evolve once its beauty is maxed. so just force-feed it dry pokeblocks until it is maxed and you'll just need to raise it one level for it to evolve.
the best nature for it is modest, because not only does it raise spec. attack at the price of attack but it also means that feebas will LOVE dry pokeblocks. Yes, the sort of pokeblock a pokemon likes is influenced by its nature.
thats all for now! see ya!

How To Get Golbat To Evolve Into Crobat |
Golbat doesn't evolve into Crobat at a certain level. You have to get him to like you. The best thing to do is to put Golbat at the front of your party, and give him the Soothe Bell. Mine evolved at level 63, but yours can evolve at any time. Also, recommended moves for Crobat are:
Poison Fang/Mean Look(depending on whether you have caught Latios)Sludge Bomb Fly and Air Cutter
Hope this helps! |

How To Own All Three Starter Pokemon Easily |
How to get all three starter pokemon is a piece of cake! First you know at the beginning of Ruby/Sapphire you get one of the three (i chose torchic). To get the other 2 is the easiest thing in the world. First you need something called an action replay, the most important thing in the process. You can find these at Wal-Mart. How to work it is simple, there are 2 slots, one farther down than the other, that one goes into the gameboy advance(sp), the other slot is where your game goes in. Now turn on your gameboy and wait till you come to a menu screen. There go to select game and choose either Ruby-New PK or Sapphire-New PK depending on which game you have, press A to choose. There you will see a list with boxes next to each pokemon. Press a on each of the blank boxes, you must make sure none of them are blank or this wont work. When you are sure none of them are blank press start. It should take you to your game. Go to continue and find the nearest pc (pokemon centers always have one). Make sure that you have one empty space in your pokemon party otherwise deposit on in your pc. Then go to withdraw and go to the first box. You should see an egg or a pokemon you're sure you never caught before as the first pokemon in that box. That is called a bad egg. What you do is withdraw it. If you're lucky it will turn into either: torchic, mudkip, treeko, marshtomp, grovyle. Dont be alarmed if it looks like you traded for it. When you go back to your pc box 1 there will be another egg/weird pokemon, this is for the other starter pokemon you need.that bad egg will keep appearing until you save and shut off your game. These pokemon will not show up in your pokedex sorry!

Item Bringer |
This cheat will get you some pretty good items early on in the game. All you have to do is catch a Zigzagoon. As you travel around with it, it will have an item attached to it. Keep checking and it will have a new item every so often. |
|
Itemfinder |
While using the Itemfinder, if it rings look near trees and rocks . For example, sneak behind the Berry Master's house and look by the trees to find a Revive. Also go by the ocean shore in Mauville, Mossdeep, and Lilycove. All around the water you can find Heart Scales . After you have Surf, go to Dewford and surf north. You will find some land. Search all around it and you will find a Heart scale . Look by the Daycare Center to see some grass blocked by a tree. Cut it down and search all around inside to find an item.

|
Kyogregroudon |
How to get kyogre or groudon its easy go sootopilis city go to cave of origin go in go find a ladder go down you'll find lava or water in it is kyogre or groudon. warning!!!!! don't use masterball their are more legendaries in the game like latias and latios. latias for sapphire latios for ruby. |
|
|
When you get the Go-Goggles and defeat the Elite Four, catch a Trapinch in the desert. Keep it up the top of your party until you run into Latias. Trapinch's special abilaty is 'Arena Trap' which means the foe cannot escape. So if you used the master ball on Grondon/Kyogre you still have a chance. But make sure you train it to a high level like 70 so you can weaken it first.
|
|
|
When you get the Master Ball in Team Aqua's/Magma's lair, do not use it on Kyogre/Groudon. Latios and Latias will eventually appear in your game, and they are extremely difficult to catch. They will run from route to route.
Just after you finish the game, on television there will be a report about a one-of-an-kind Pokemon that is now loose in Hoenn. It will show up all over Hoenn in the grassy areas. You will only have one chance to catch it. It rarely appears. It depends on which game you are playing; Latios for Pokemon Ruby and Latias for Pokemon Sapphire.
When going after Latios and Latias, always use Repels so you are not interrupted by other Pokemon.
|
|
Latios Recommended Moves |
The recommended moves for Latios is Psychic, Luster Purge, Recover, and Thunder.
|
|
Legandary Pokemon |
To find groudon its obvious but for latos go to the scorched slab near fortree city and surf out side for a while and for ryquazza go to mirrage island (youll need a mach bike)

When you complete the Pokemon League, you will have three or four fans. If you notice, the people on the top part of the building will say that they like other trainers better than you. However, once you capture about 185 Pokemon, two of those fans will become your fans. Once you have all 200 Pokemon, they will all become your fans.

After defeating the Elite Four, go to Lilycove City. Go into the inn and talk to the man there. He talks about some people who call themselves Game Freak. If you go upstairs you will find them, just like in Celedon City in Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Also, go in front of the inn keeper watching television. He will get mad and yell, "Hey you, down in front! Move I can't see the television!".
|
|
Lilycove City: Items |
Once you go to Team Aqua's or Magma's hideout in Lilycove City, do not leave until you have collected the Master Ball, Electrode, and Nugget.
|
|
Magikarp |
Magikarp can only be caught with an Old Rod.
|
|
Magneton |
Other than by evolution, it can be found in New Mauville.

After you defeat the champion at the pokémon league go to Mossdeep city to Stevens house and there is a pokéball on the table that contains a Beldum a Steel/Psychic pokemon that already knows the move Take Down give it exp.share that you can get in Rustboro city from Devon.corps after you deliverd the packedge to Capt.Stern just talk to M.Stone the president of Devon Corps train Beldum with the exp.share to level 20 and it will evolve to Metang also a Steel/Psychic pokemon and it will learn the moves: confusion and Metal claw train it further to level 45 and Metang will evolve to Metagross a very strong pokemon of the types Steel/Psychic.
|
|
Mew |
Mew is the only Pokemon that can learn all TMs and HMs. He can only be caught through a GameShark or CodeBreaker code.
|
|
Milotic |
This is a great Pokemon to have. It is a Water type which learns some Dragon moves and eventually Recover. Feebas does not evolve into Milotic they way a normal Pokemon does. To get Feebas to evolve, you must increase the beauty of it. To increase the beauty, it is best to use Indigo and Liteblue Pokeblocks. Save some Corn and Aguav Berries to make Pokeblocks with. Feed Feebas a number of Pokeblocks until its beauty is nearly at maximum. The next time Feebas grows another level, it will evolve into Milotic.

RUBY AND SAPPHIRE:
Mirage Island is one of the most secret island in the whole Pokemon games.
HOW TO GET THERE
Every day, a number out of nowhere is generated by your game and for each of your Pokemons. If your Pokemons number is the same as the one of Mirage Island's, it becomes accessible. Its only there for a day. Unless you disposit your Pokemon into a Box. You can if your number correctly matches Mirage Islands by going to the house in Pacifidlog Town. Talk to the man in the house at the bottom right house. What kind of Pokemon lives there? Only the pre-evolved form of Wobbuffet: Wynaut! They are Lv.5 to 50! There are the rariest Berry: Liechi Berry which are made for Gold Pokeblocks! You can have others by planting them and water them!

To get there if you have a chance, its situated in Route 130 right of Pacifidlog Town!

|
I finally know how to get there!
It depends on your pokemon party what the guy say. Every pokemon has a number(not a pokedex number but just a number). Each time you deposit a pokemon from your party or do a box activity, the number chance. So your party has 6 numbers (if you have 6 pkmn in it, but you have to or else this cheat wont work). If the 6 numbers ar correct then you can go to mirrage island. I know that female pokemon have good numbers and that Latios + Latias have good numbers. Mirage Island isn't big. You can only find a gold berry and a Wynaut + some other pokemon there.
|
|
Mirrage Island |
Go to passifidog town(you know , that town floating in the sea where you cant run). Now, walk down and go to the very right house and enter it. Then you see a man staring right out of the window. Talk to him. When he says:"I can't see Mirrage Island today", you have bad luck and have to try again an other day. But when he says that he can see mirrage Island, surf to the east and you should be there.

|
If you want to know all the rare candies look at this list.

Route 108. Go to the bottom part and go on a land press A on them(the others have nothing.)
Route 120. you'll find a tree that is cutable (I don't mean the raining part one)at the end you press A
Ocean current. this one is not a lie just because it's very hard to get it
A pokemon with a Pick Up ability(it's more easier depending how high the level is)
|
|
More Than One Starter Pokemon |
To get more than one starter pokemon than at the begining of the game when you are picking your starter pokemon to rescue professer birch save your game before you pick. Then when you pick and if it is not a girl pokemon then shut off your game then try again until your starter pokemon is a girl. Then with your or someone elses firered/leafgreen and trade a ditto to your game. Then put your girl starter pokemon and ypur ditto in daycare and they will have an egg and it will be your starter pokemon.
|
|
Mudkip |
Mudkip is a Water type Pokemon. You can get it as a starter. Mudkip evolves in to Marshtomp at level 16 and it is a Water/Ground type Pokemon. Marshtomp evolves later at level 36 to Swampert, a Water/Ground type.
One of the best moves are Mud Shot, Earthquake, Blizzard, and Surf. Note: When you get Muddy Water, replace Water Gun with it. Then, when you get Surf, replace Muddy Water with it.

You will then be able to access the MYSTERY EVENTS icon in your main menu.

Natures, And What Are They? |
NATURES, AND, WHAT ARE THEY?
................................................
Ok back to the major stuff, what are natures?
Many people ask if there's actually a point in natures. Well, the answer is
yes. Unlike the complicated EVs and IVs, natures' concept is quite simple.
Each nature will either increase a stat by 10% and drop another by 10%, or not
affect a Pokemon's stats at all.
This has influenced EV splitting greatly. If you choose one attack stat, it
will not matter that the other one is dropped by 10%.

I tried to organize this so that it'll be easy to read. The order will always
be +Att, +Def, +Spd, +Sp Att, then +Sp Def with one missing(since that has to
be the negative). They are organized by - so it'll be easier for those who do
not split EVs.

Obtain The Legendary Deoxys Or Jirachi |
Go to the space station at mossdeep city and talk to the scientist looking out the window with the lab coat on. If he says the rocket has launched successfully and then says a number 56 or higher he will ask you if you want to go into space. Say yes. You will be taken to the moon where, Deoxys will be use the lottery technique i mentioned before and use a mater ball to catch it. But if the scientist says a number 100 or higher this means you will encounter a Jirachi! May your space exploration be a bright one!

This is a useful item with multiple functions.
Map: This will display a map of Houen. You can move the pointer with the D-pad and can also press A to zoom in.
Poke-Info: This will display information about your Pokemon stats. These may show how much of a chance your Pokemon has of winning a Pokemon Contest. These can be raised with Poroks (the berries).
Trainer-Dex: This will show information on all of the trainers you have fought.
Hall Of Fame: After defeating the Elite 4, you can see your Pokemon that defeated them in the Hall of Fame.

ok..ok the salemence slashes is kinda wierd but this one is better in about 400 ways.when u catch a pokemon at a low level do not give it the exp.share and go the to elite 4 and give it about 600exp.becouse it will eventually gut power hungry and it will take a long time to get it to say lv.50. and when it is about lv.60 it will start to get weaker and weaker and weaker until it will start to hate you.so what im trying to say is that keep it ssllooww............
|

|
In Pokemon Contest houses, you may enter your Pokemon into a contest for a chance to win a medal. However if you enter without any Porok level ups, you will have a very low chance of winning. The way to raise this is to go out and find the trees with berries on them, then press A. You will then receive 1 to 4 berries. If you now go to a Pokemon House, you will see small gray machines on the right. The empty one on the top is for multi-player. For now, find a house in a city that only has a man at the bottom. Go to the other side of the machine and press A. You will then be asked to pick a Porok (berry) and throw it in. The spinner will come down and start moving. The objective is to press A just when the spinner hits your arrow:
Circle Within A Circle: Direct hit (much faster)
Circle: Near hit (slightly faster)
X: Miss (slower:
The faster you (and your opponent) get the spinner moving, the better. Once the meter at the top hits the end, it is over and the results and the fastest RPM the spinner was moving will appear. You will then receive a Blended Porok. The level of it depends on how fast you got the machine going. The average appears to be 11. Next, open your Special Items Pocket and go to your "Pez dispenser" type item (which you must have to play the game -- it is obtained from the girl in the first contest house). You will then pick a Blended Porok and feed it to a pet, making one of his Pokemon Contest stats (viewable in the Poke-Navi) go up. Some can even raise multiple stats. The more you do this, the better chance you have of winning.

Heracross Move set:
Heracross W/ Salac Berry
Reversal
Endure
Megahorn
Rock Slide
(I think PIdgeotPro mentioned this) Whenever against a strong Fire/Psychic/Flying Pokemon, use Endure first. Then you're supposed to have a extremely low HP points. If you do, use Reversal. It shall OHKO the opponent. Megahorn and Rock Slide is when your against some OTHER Pokemons.
Charizard Move Set:
Charizard w/Charcoal
Blast Burn
Sunny Day
Heat Wave
Sword Dance
With Charcoal holding on Charizard it pluses the Fire Attacks by 100. Plus Sunny Day, 50. Plus Sword Dance 100! Now use Blast Burn or Heat Wave.
BLAST BURN: 150 + 100 + 50 + 100 = 400! If you use Sword Dance alot of times it shall be: 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 999!
HEAT WAVE: 100 + 100 + 50 + 100 = 350! Use Sword Dance alot of times! 450,550,650,750,850,950,999!
Rayquaza Move Set:
Rayquaza W/Dragon Fang
Ray Slash
Dragon Claw
Hyper Beam
Dragon Dance
WIth Dragon Fang, it pluses the attack by 100. Use Dragon Dance 5 times. 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 = 250. Then use Ray Slash. It has 90% of Critical Hit! 85 + 250 + 100 = 435! + Critical Hit = 635 power and 100 acuracy! You can use for Hyper Beam too!
|
|
Pokemon Only In Ruby |
Pokemon you only can catch in ruby without any cheats: Seedot, (unless you see on the telivishion on sapphire that there are seedots on a certain route) Nuzleaf, Dusclops, Groudon, Latios, Zangoose, Solrock, and Mawile.
|
|
Pokemon Team For Pokemon League |
The best Team for me I think is:
Rayquaza - Fly, Outrage, Extreme Speed, Hyper Beam
Blaziken - Slash, Flamethrower, Sky Uppercut, Fire Blast
Gyarados - Bite, Surf, Hyper Beam, Blizzard
Kyogre - Water Spout, Ice Beam, Sheer Cold, Blizzard
The other 2 is in your choice.
Rayquaza's Outrage can Kill all in 1 hit. Just switch pokemon after 2 or 3 hits of outrage so he'll not be confused. I think the pattern is: first 3 outrage then the next is 2 then 3 and so on.
Blaziken's Fire Blast is almost no miss when at level 90 to 100. Use Sky Uppercut for Dark type pokemons.
Kyogre for Dragon/Grass Type
Gyarados for Ghost |

Power-up |
Some people think that brickbreak is weaker than earthquake.
Well, that's true.
A BIT TRUE.
Cause when a fighting pkmn uses brickbreak, its stronger than earthquake.
Let me explain myself:
If a pokemon uses a move that is the same type as the user's type, its 1.5 times as strong! When its super-effectiv on your opponent the move's power is increased again. The same story for crictical-hit.
Example:
A normal type uses explosion(type mach x 1.5)and it is a crictical-hit(x 1.5) and it is super effective agaist opponent's type 1(x1.5) and type 2(x1.5) than its having a power of 1898.4375!
Conclusion:
Its better for a blaziken to use brickbreak than earthquake!

Prevent Latios/ Latias From Fleeing No. 2 |
Hi, it's Mattyscizor!!!
If you didn't catch Latios or Latias the first time...
If you didn't catch Latios or Latias the first time then fly to Pacifalog town using same party as before (See 'Prevent Latios/ Latias frm fleeing' no.1 (no.1 not included). No check the location of the ledgendery in your Poke'dex, if it is not very close to you then fly to Paifolog town again, and it will of moved again, keep on doing so and eventually it will be very near Pacifolog town surf in the direction of it's location(use repel)
and do the information in // on my other cheat intitled
'Prevent Latios/ Latias from fleeing'
brought to you by Mattyscizor, if you have any other questions e-mail me at
simcockfamily@cwctv.net or ask me on the site.
|
|
|
Hi, it's Mattyscizor!!!
To prevent Latios or Latias from fleeing:
After beating the elite four go and catch about three Trapinch's and train them to pretty good levels (35-40)
Then catch a good levelled pokemon that has sleep powder or Hypnosis and one that can learn Fly.
Now deposit all your pokemon except a good levelled Thunder pokemon or your best party pokemon.
Now fly to Mosdeep city with a Trapinch at the front of your party and start surfing south (down)
Continue along the sea fleeing from rubbish pokemon but maybe capture a Wailord (Like i did at Lvl. 46!)
Eventually Latios/ Latias will appear, aim an Ultra ball at it, keep on throwing balls until Trapinch dies, now send out the next, do the same until the Trapinch dies, now send out your last Trapinch, do the same until that Trapinch dies and now send out one of your pokemon with sleep powder and use it!
now be aware when it wakes it will flee but I am later going to enter a hint on what to do if you don't catch it the first time...
brought to you by Mattyscizor, if you have any questions, e-mail me at simcockfamily@cwctv.net or ask me on the site.
Hope this helps!!!

Quik Leveling Up |
Here are a few tips to raising your Pokemon levels fairly quickly, though it’s still slower at higher levels, but faster than before. Take the Pokemon you want to train and put it at the front of your party equipped with EXPERIENCE SHARE. Go to the Elite Four (Pokemon League) and battle them. The Pokemon you are training will come out first switch it with a stronger Pokemon in your party. Then continue to battle. This way the Pokemon you’re training get exp. for EXPERIENCE SHARE and battling a little bit. Also trade Pokemon you want to train a lot the more they are traded the more experience they can earn. My level 91 Riachu has been traded about 5 times and can level up 3 time at the league by itself. Hope it helps!
|
|
Raise Pokemon With Fighting Moves Quickly |
If you want to raise pokemon with fighting moves quickly here's one trick go to route 114 and fight Zangoose and Nuzleaf. They are easy to beat with fighting moves and the exp points gained are usually 200 and above.
NOTE: This only works in Pokemon Ruby.
|
|
Raise Weak Pokemon Fast |
When you reach the daycare centre on route 117, put two low level pokemon in there. Now, use the newly acquired mach bike to go around the area at the front of the daycare centre. If you do this for a while. You can have a level 20 Nincada in about 10-15 minutes without battling. Hope this helps!
|
|
|
I found a new way to raise your pokemon easier. All you need to do is have the acro bike with you and put the pokemon you want raised in the pokemon day-care, Then go to the mud slide north from Mauville in the desert.Face the mud slide and get something to hold up the up button like a spray can or something heavy, But if you do not have a game boy advance SP you will have to do it the short way by holding the up button up.
Note, have the charger plugged in so the batteries do not run out.
|
|
Ralts |
To catch Ralts, a Psychic type Pokemon, early in the game, go into the grass directly outside of Petelsburg. You must have a positive disposition to encounter this Pokemon, which means your Pokemon must be attracted to you. This early in the game, it is almost impossible for them to really like you. It is weak at first, but a powerful Psychic type Pokemon can be very useful later in the game. Found in Route 102.

Rare Berries |

Rare Candy In Granite Cave |
In the third or second underground level of granite cave u nid a mach bike for it anddo tricks youve done at sky pillat for catching rayquaza. |
|
|
For this cheat to work, you need to start a girl trainer, but name it a boys name and you should get a different colored Pokémon. Note: It might not work but I got a yellow Torchic.
|
|
|
To get Rayquaza you need to beat the elite 4. When you beat them a hidden island will apear close to PACIFIDLOG TOWN. Surf and go east while ur surfing there will be rocks in the rocks somewhere there is a opening. Go in it and you be at a entrance go in and go through the cave... then you will be at this big tower!Go through the mazes on ur MECH bike(its hard) When u get to the very top youll be with rayquaza. Before you battle him id save so if you ill it you cant get it.i used a master ball but that was a mistake... use lots of ultra balls!
|
|
|
The recommended moves for Rayquaza is Hyper Beam, Outrage, Thunder, and Flamethrower.
|
|
Recomended Moves For Groudon |
The BEST moves for Groudon are Fissure, Dig, Fire Blast, and Dragon Claw. |
|
|
For a really strong unbeatable party have the following pokemon. Your starter pokemon at last stage:
Regice
Regirock
Registeel
Rayquazza
Salemence
|
|
Recommended Pokemon Team |
So many people have sent in recommendations, but I think this team is the best: blaziken-sky uppercut, blaze kick, fire blast, double kick shedinja-shadow ball, hyper beam, silver wind and a move of your choice:
manectric-thunderbolt,thunder,quick attack,shockwave
salamence-dragonclaw,fly,flamethrower,dragonrage
golduck-surf,waterfall,blizzard,& a psychic type move
groudon-slash,solar beam,earthquake,fire blast
The best thing is that you can use this team vs. elite 4 just level 55 & above! |
|
|
The best starters are either Treecko or Torchic. Treecko's stats emphasize on special attack and speed (which increases dramatically once it evolves). Torchic evolves into a Fire/Fighting Pokemon which can be difficult at times but can prove to be helpful. If you want Groudon, then it is probably best to choose Treecko, However the Fighting type that Combusken and Blaizken (Torchic's evolved forms) brings to the table is a welcome addition. Fighting will be an essential type later in the game. Choose wisely because you only get one. Note: If you choose Torchic, do not delay its evolution into Combusken as it soon after learns Double-Kick, one of its most valuable moves. Choose your favorite Dark type Pokemon and do not let go. Poochenya is a good choice because it is available early in the game, and it is pure Dark with good stats. Later in the game, you will be able to catch a Zangoose. This Pokemon is a Dark type killing machine. It has a set of great moves, good stats, and a bad disposition. When you catch it, read its Pokedex entry They are found just outside Meteor Falls. Use a Pokemon with a move that can either put its opponent asleep or paralyze it, preferably a Grass type with Stun Spore and Sleep Powder. Oddish is a good choice because it learns every Powder there is. If you are feeling adventurous and want to go after the legendary Pokemon "The Regis", catch a Wailmer and level it up. You will need its evolved form, Wailord (evolves at level 40) and a Relicanth. If you do go for The Regis, choose either the Registeel or the Regice. Registeel is pure steel which makes good against just about everything. Regice is pure ice which makes it a menace to all dragons out there. Registeel has high defense and special defense scores, while Regice has an incredible special defense and average normal defense. If you went for The Regis and decided to keep your Wailord in you party (recommended, as it has an incredible amount of HP) then you are done. If you did not go for The Regis, you will still have two empty slots to fill. Catch your favorite Pokemon for one and save that last slot for that ultra-powerful Pokemon in the tower towards the end of the game.

Use the following steps to capture the three mysterious Pokemon called the Regis. Go to the southeast part of Route 134 and dive into the water. It is difficult to get to due to the currents, and it is the only deep part of that route. You will find a cave. At a part of the cave, there are some Braille writing on the wall. At that point, float to the top of the water, where you will end up in a cavern. Go into the last room by going forward, use Dig, and in the next room you must do something strange. Put a Relicanth in the front of your party, and a Wailord at the last place. Walk to the top of the room and read the Brail . You will trigger an earthquake, which will unlock the Regis. You can fish up a Wailmer to evolve at level 40 at Route 122, and find a Relicanth outside Sootopolis in the underwater grass (rarely, but it is there).
Registeel
To find Registeel, you can access a volcano in the southwest region of Route 120. Enter it, then move towards the center of the room. Use Fly to find Registeel.
Note: The Braille writing for catching Registeel is: "With new time, hope and love, aim to the sky in the middle".
Regirock
To find Regirock, fly to lavaridge, bop down the mountain, and enter the desert. In the southern part of the desert, you will find a cavern. Enter it, then walk up to the center tile at the top of the room. Go two steps down and two steps right. Use strength to open the passage to Regirock.
Note: The Braille writing for catching Regirock is: "Right, right, down, down. Then, use strength".
Regice
To find Regice, in Route 105, there is an island on the west side that has a mountain on it. Go there, enter, and stand in front of the tile. Press A, read it, press A again, and do not do anything else. The door will open after 2 or so minutes, and the last Regi is yours.
Note: The Braille writing for catching Regice is: "Stop and wait. Wait for time to pass twice".

Ribbons |
Here are the ways you can get ribbons:
Winning contests
Beat league
Beat 50 trainers at battle tower
Lady at slateport by energy guru
Artist dude after you beat Master contest.
|
|
Rocket Launch |
The only place you can do the rocket launch is at mossdeep city, go to the space center and talk to this guy looking out the window he's in a white lab coat. Talk to him and if he says "the rocket has launched succesfully" and he says a number at the end if it's 56 or higher but not 100 or higher then he will ask you if you want to go to space say yes when you get to the moon there will be the legendary pokemon Deoxys save before you battle this pokemon but don't use the master ball because if he says 100 you'll get to space but instead of Deoxys there will be an even rarer pokemon Jirachi use the master ball for him he's extremly difficult to catch.
|
|
|
Note: You must have the Running Shoes. Walk, run, or ride on your bike up to a person that rotates (looks north, east, south, and west repeatedly). Now run (hold B) around the rotating person and he or she will watch you in every direction, as long as you are near.
|
|
|
to get feebas you need to use an old rod at the lake on route 119. now there's a difference in ruby and sapphire's feebas population. in ruby you have a 90% chance in catching one (i caught mine on my first try in ruby) in sapphire there's only a 10% chance you can get one(it took me 2 hours to find one and my sister killed it when i went to the bathroom) the feebas's level is between 20-25. so what i'm saying is if u want a feebas rely bad USE YOUR RUBY VERSION good luck but do remember feebas is weak it will only know the moves splash tackle
|
|
|
(you need the HM move waterfall before doing this hint) Go to Fallarbor town and go from there to meteor falls go across the waterfall and go deeper into the cave until you reach an area where you can find TM 02 Dragon claw walk around on the little peace of land where you found that TM 02 and you may encounter a BAGON a dragon pokémon (I found it from Level 30 and 35 (35 is the best)train it (with exp.share if you want this works faster than training.) an train it a level further and it will evolve into SHELGON (dragon type pokémon) train it further to Level 50 and it will evolve into SALAMENCE and learns the move FLY (SALAMENCE IS A STRONG DRAGON/FLYING POKÉMON)
|
|
Salamence Slashes |
When u get get a begon do not teach it dragon claw because it will eventually learn it at around lv.78,79,80
my salamence is lv.88 and its attacks are dragonbreath, dragon claw, fly, fire blast.
|
|
Save The Master Ball |
When you get the master ball don't use it on Groundon use it on Latios its a much bigger prize!

|
Sceptile: Recommended Moves |
The recommended moves for Sceptile is False Swipe, Giga Drain, Leaf Blade, and Slam.
|
|
Secret Base People |
If you Mix Recordings with a friend and he has a secret base then you can go to it and battle him/her. If you mix recordings with someone and they have the same secret base as your other friend then you will have the second person's secret base unless you go to the computer in their secret bese and regester it. Then The person will always be there. Now if you want to have that secret base yours then have another friend with the secret base that you want open then have them move into the secret bese you want and mix recordings then have your friend move into another secret base and mix recordings one last time and the secret base should be open if you didn't have the person registered.
|
|
|
Secret Bases:::
To get a Secret Base, you need a TM called Secret Power. Teach it to your Pokemon. When you see a bush, a tree or a cave with a little hole in it, click on the hole, tree or bush. It will say: "Your Pokemon" used Secret Power! Then you'll discover a cave, a hole etc. Then you'll have your own PC (A Laptop Yay! LoL!) You can buy Plants, at Rustboro, balloons at Slatport, desks and chairs at Fortree, tents somewhere. That's it! Oh yeah, the biggest base that I found is in Mauville and Fallarbor!
Enjoy making your Base!
|
|
|
Go to Mauville city and go down to the cycling road enterence and when you enter go all the way right and there are trees and behind there is a secret psychic trainer.
|
|
Secret Stone |
I don't think alot of you Pokemon fans, knew about the SECRET STONE. First you either need the FLY and (or) the SURF HM before you can even think about getting it. FLY or SURF to Mossdeep City, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 6 POKEMON, then go all the way up to the Mossdeep City SPACE CENTER. Once you enter the SPACE CENTER, walk ALL THE WAY up to you encounter a guy with a lab-coat on, talk to them (2 times) then go down to a guy that is dresed like a SAILOR. Talk to him(make sure your ITEM BAG is not full) once you talk to him he will give a SECRET STONE, called the SUN STONE. It can be used on many pokemon except WATER,and GRASS type.
Hope i helped you.
|
|
Sharpedo |
Once you are able to track down Sharpedo in your Pokedex, do whatever is necessary to capture it. It is an excellent Water/Dark Pokemon that already knows Crunch, Dark's most powerful attack. His speed is incredible and will be of great use later in the game.
|
|
Shedinja |
This Pokemon is very easy to obtain, but is quite good. It is the only Bug and Ghost type Pokemon. It has 1 HP no matter how high its level, but its special power Wonder Guard makes it almost invincible. Wonder Guard protects against all attacks except for those that are super effective. For example, Bug is weak against Flying types; if someone uses a Flying type move on Shedinja, it is going to get hit. To get Shedinja, you will need a Nincada. You can catch one on Route 116. Make sure you have a free slot for a new Pokemon (Shedinja). That means you can have only five Pokemon, including Nincada. Make sure you have at least one of the type of Pokeball you used to catch Nincada with. For example, if you caught Nincada with a Great Ball, make sure you have at least one Great Ball. Get it to evolve at level 20 into a Ninjask and learns three new moves. Once you are back out to the normal screen, go to your Pokemon. You will see that you just got another Pokemon, Shedinja.

Now, I have made some extremely reasearches about Starter Pokemons.
Here I would like to prove that Starter Pokemons are VERY EASY TO RAISE!
STARTER POKEMONS
EXP POINTS: 1756 EXP POINTS
NAME: BULBASAUR, CHARMANDER, SQUIRTLE, CHIKORITA, TOTODILE, CYNDAQUIL, TREECKO, MUDKIP AND TORCHIC
LEVEL: 5 to 17
NORMAL POKEMONS
EXP POINTS: 1756 EXP POINTS
NAME: EVERY SINGLE POKEMONS EXEPT STARTERS AND BLISSEY AND CHANSEY
LEVEL: 5 to 13 or 14
Now, see the difference? You could get a Lv.73 Blaziken just in a day! I got a Lv.84 Blissey in just 2 and 1/2 days!

|
|
Here how to get a strong team. For your party, you need to have an equivalent team. Ex.: One of each type. Catch Pokemon then train them get bunch of Pokemons then think what could make a good party? Here's the answer! I suggest you having:

Reversal Mega Horn
Endure Counter
- Swampert Ground/Water W/Mystic Water
Earthquake Hydro Pump
Ice Beam Rock Slide
- Sableye Dark/Ghost W/Spell Tag

Flamethrower Ice Beam
Thunderbolt Earthquake
- Charizard Fire/Flying W/Charcoal

- Entei Fire
Water Team.

|
The best attacks for Groudon is (fire) Eruption, (grass) Solarbeam, (fire) Fire Blast, and (fighting) Focus Punch.(Eruption works best when Groudon is at max HP, Solarbeam takes 1 turn with sunny weather, also Fire Blast is 1.5x stronger with sunny weather,Focus Punch does 150 damage if it connects.)
|
|
Surskit |
Found on Routes 102, 111, 114, 117, and 120.
|
|
|
The best moves for a Swampert are Surf, Ice Beam, Earthquake and Muddy Water. Muddy Water is not essential, but with the other three moves and a decent health bar you can defeat the Elite Four with only one pokemon.
|
|
|
The recommended moves for Swampert is Earthquake, Muddy Water, Blizzard, and Hyper Beam. (Also Hydro Pump is good but you would need to level 42 for Mudkip to learn it)

File: Swampert with Hydro Pump
Now I know some Trainers have been asking why Swampert is not learning Hydro Pump or how do we get Hydro Pump? Here's the answer! The reason why Swampert is not learning Hydro Pump is it been replaced by Earthquake so it can learn an Ground move. Marshtomp can't learn Hydro Pump either. But Mudkip DOES learn Hydro Pump at Lv.42! So there. This is how we get it: First give an Everstone on your Mudkip or press B on each level after Lv.16.
Mudkip Lv.16 ---> Marshtomp Lv.36 ---> Swampert Lv.61 = Endeavor.
- Train Mudkip to Lv.42. It'll learn Hydro Pump
- Remove the Everstone from Mudkip (for those who used it)
- Train Mudkip to Lv.43. It'll evolve into Marshtomp. It'll probably learn Protect.
- Train Marshtomp to Lv.44. It'll evolve into Swampert. It'll learn Protect at Lv.46.
So there! This is how you learn Swampert Hydro Pump!
Now you can have Hydro Pump AND Earthquake!
Enjoy!

Hi, it's Mattyscizor!!!
The best bet at getting Feebas
The best way for getting Feebas would be to not change the 'fasion' theme in Dewford (that might to tally screw things up!) but to keep it as it was.
Fly to route 119 and to where the fisher that battled with a Feebas is standing and surf. Use that super rod and point it at the square where the fisher whom had one is standing.
Hopefully you should encounter a Feebas.
Brought to you by Mattyscizor.
I'm no sure this works, if it does, e-mail me at:

Hello, everyone out there. this is PIdgeotPro speaking.
I recently tried out the (in the past) over-used choice band + slaking at the battle tower. it worked exceptionally well and 'slaqueen' (it was a FEMALE slaking! what an oximoron, a FEMALE slaKING!) is now part of my most important team players. anyways, the choice band powers up the first move you use by 50%. theres a catch, though, because that move becomes the only move you can use until you switch/die. and slaking happens to possess the highest attack stat of any pokemon, so you can sorta guess that the two go together. whenever you make a choice band set, remember this: all your moves have to be attacking moves. think about it: what's the point of powering up yawn and it becomes the only move you can use until you switch/die? choice band sets are quite fun - especially since the Ruby/Sapphire/emerald/firered/leafgreen series happen to be the most offensively based metagame.
by the way, my choice band slaking's moveset was this:
hyper beam
earthquake
shadow ball
brick break
hyper beam is awsome on a slaking - not only does he gain STAB (same type attack bonus), but the recharging period is spent when he loafs around. earthquake is just plain good for anything with such high attack. shadow ball and brick break work well in the same moveset because nothing resists both. one thing to be wary of, though: flee at the first sight of anything with the move protect. the opponent will protect the turn you attack then the opponent will attack when you are loafing around helplessly. also, beware of skarmory and metagross! and if anything is immune to the banded attack, switch.
thats all i have time for now. bye, y'all.

The Pokemon To Use To Catch Latias Or Latios |
Wobbuffet at a very high level would work well because of it's ability "Shadow Tag" which prevents foes from escaping. Latias (Sapphire) and Latios (Ruby) always try to when you battle it. Golbat with the move "Mean Look" and also at a very high level would work just as well. Even though the pokemon Trapinch has the ability "Arena Trap" which is meant to stop pokemon from escaping, it won't work on Latias or Latios. This ability doesn't work on pokemon that are flying type or have the ability "Levitate" and Latias and Latios have this ability. |

The Secret Use Of Magicarp |
Magicarp; possibly the most useless Pokemon in the game. But did anyone think it may have some hidden purpose? Well it doesnt =P but its evolved form Gyarados can be quite the powerful companion. Getting to the point, if you give your useless Magicarp to the babysitter it evolves after only one level!! try it, it is honestly the only thing worth doing with a Magicarp.

When going after the legendary representing the team of your game (Team Aqua or Team Magma), bring about 30 Ultra Balls, quite a few Revives, and at least a level 50 Pokemon. The Pokemon will be at level 45, and will be extremely difficult to catch. The only sure way to catch it is if you bring a Pokemon with a move that will freeze or paralyze it. Try as hard as you can not to kill it, but get it down to a red zone so far down that you can barely see it. Then, go mad throwing Ultra Balls at it. Do not use other Pokeballs. The will help greatly against the Elite Four and the final Gym leader.

EV GUIDE
Hello dear reader, you must be thinking why you're reading this faq? Well you must be tring to figure out what are EVs? Well, are you wondering if there are other ways to enhance your stats? The answer is
obviously yes, otherwise this guide wouldn't be here.
Effort Values, or EVs, is something that has drastically changed the Pokemon
metagame. In previous games, they were known as "Stat Experience", and were
gained whenever you battled, which is why Rare Candying your Pokemon was bad.
You could gain max stats easily, using vitamins on all your stats, etc. It
all increased your Pokemon's stat exp., and thus you'd have higher stats.
In R/S, there are caps to how much stat exp can be gained, and how many per
stat. But first, let's go a bit more in depth to what this stat exp is.
EVs are gained by battling Pokemon. Any Pokemon will do, it doesn't matter if
it is wild, a trainer Pokemon, or your friend's. They all give EVs. Like IVs,
there is a value for every stat. And again like IVs, the more you have, the
stronger your Pokemon is. 4 EVs in one stat = one stat point. That may not
seem like much, but when you have 252 EVs, that a full 64 stat points! Just
keep certain Pokemon to get it.
When I say certain Pokemon, I mean ones that carry the EVs you want. Each
Pokemon gives you a certain kind of EV. Usually, higher evolution Pokemon have
more than lower ones. Every Pokemon has at least one though. Each Pokemon give
different kinds of EVs, such as a Poochyena gives 1 Attack EV, while a
Mightyena gives 2 Att EVs. The most a Pokemon can give you is 3.
So, to get strong, you keep battling. So the more you battle, the stronger you
get, right? Well, the answer is both yes and no. It is true that the more you
battle, the more EVs you get thus you have higher stats. But there are also
caps. The most amount of EVs that you can ever get is 510. The most per stat
is 255. But then stats don't increase after 252, so usually you would stop at
that point.
You can split the EVs in any way that you want. But however, if you just dish
out EVs sloppily, they won't help much. This is where the roles of Pokemon
come in. For example, if you have a physical sweeper, you would want to have
high Att EVs and Spd EVs so that it would efficient in attacking first and
finishing the opponent before they have a chance to reply with an attack of
their own. Since you'll be doing all this sweeping, Defense EVs wouldn't
really be your concern since the opponent won't really hit you very often.
This is the main reason why people like to use either a physical sweeper or
a special sweeper. If a mixed sweeper is used, then you must give EVs in both
attack and special attack, but then it would be too slow to attack. There is
also personalities that you want to consider. Subtracting defense for an
attack stat wouldn't be too wise because you would want your Pokemon to at
at least take a hit. This is why it is wiser to use Pokemon using only
physical attacks or special attacks.
What if I send out a Pokemon and switch it?
If you switch, then all the Pokemon who participated gain EVs as if it were
the only one battling. So in other words, all the Pokemon will have gotten
full EVs.
Now, all you need to learn is to EV train. You can go peeking through tall
grass trying to find certain Pokemon with certain EVs, or, you can find
specific training areas in which you can find many Pokemon that give a certian
type of EV. And no, I am not listing them all. I am rather lazy. I'll just tell you the one's for R/S.
Good Training Routes:
Att EVs: East of Mauville. Use the Super Rod to fish for Sharpedo(2) and
Carvanha(1) OR if you have the Sapphire version, Mt. Pyre in which you find
mostly Shuppets(1).
HP: The Tunnel connecting Rustboro and Verdanturf town contains only
Whismur(1). Marill(2) on route 117 while Surfing is good too.
Def: On every Dive route, you can find Clamperl(1).
Spd: On the route East of Mauville, you'll find Wingull(1) and Zigzagoon(1),
Linoone(2) and Manectric(2).
Sp Att: Route 113 has a bunch of Spindas(1). Don't fight the Sandshrew and
Skarmory though.
Sp Def: Tentacool and Tentacruel give 1 and 2 Sp Def points respectively. Just
about any Surf place has them as well as the Abandoned Ship.
What's that? Is EV training starting to become a bore for you? Well, luckly,
there's a couple of ways to speed it up a bit. First, there's an item called
the Macho Brace. You can get it by defeating the Winstrate family north of
Mauville. This item reduces your speed, but not permanently while doubling the
amount of EVs recieved per battle. In FR/LG after you defeat Giovanni, talk to him and use itemfinder on the spot where he used to stand.
There's anouther status called Pokerus. This is a good disease and is very,
very rare. You get it randomly by battling a Pokemon with it. You can't tell
if they have it, which is another problem. When you get it, the next time you
heal your Pokemon, the nurse will say that you have aquired the disease, along
with a handy dandy sign at the bottom left corner of your Pokemon's status
page. Pokerus will spread to your party Pokemon and will only last about 2
days. However, you can preserve it by depositing one Pokemon in the PC and
it will stay until the next time you take it out and wait a day or so.
So, combining the Macho Brace and Pokerus, your training rate will go up 4x
faster. And that's not all...
Vitamins. These drugs will raise a Pokemon's EVs by 10 for each stat that they
give. There's a cap though, when your Pokemon's EVs reach 100 for that
particular stat, the vitamin will not work.
So, using vitamins till the EVs are 100 for a stat, then using Macho Brace and
Pokerus's effect, this will greatly speed up EV training.
Do Rare Candies lower my stats?
No. They just accelerate you to the next level without gaining EVs which is
why Rare Candy trained Pokemon are generally weaker.
Is there any way to tell my EVs?
No...except when it's maxed. When you think your Pokemon has the 510 max EVs,
go to Slateport city. Next to the Energy Guru(AKA the Vitamin Man), there will
be a lady. When your EVs are maxed, she'll give you the Effort Ribbon.
Well that's it, so enjoy
(I will wright a faq on IVs)

WHAT ARE IVS?
Hello again, if you had read my EV faq then this is the next step.
IVs? What are they?
Individual Values are what makes that stats of all Pokemon different. It gives
them their "individuality", hence the name Individual Value, or shortened as
IV. Wild Pokemon's IVs are random, although once you catch them you cannot
change it. Traded Pokemon from ingame trainers(NPCs) also have random IVs.
Pokemon that are traded from real people will have the same IVs as when they
first caught them. There's no way to change IVs. IVs have a value of 0-31 in
each stat, 31 being the best. So, you would want to try and have the highest
IVs possible in every stat. IVs are also sometimes known as DVs.
What are the effects of IVs?
Well, there are several pretty accurate forumlas for calculating stats.
Depending on the nature and *EVs, each Pokemon will have a max stat for each
stat*. For each integer away from 31 for each IV, subtract one from the
Pokemon's max stat. So, let's say that Alakazam's max Special Attack is 403
with 31 IVs. However, it has a special attack IV of 0, so then its special
attack will be lower by 31 points, making it only a max of 372.
How can I calculate IVs?
There are several formulas, but I myself cannot understand them. I honestly
dislike using them, I prefer some online calculators in which you can just
type in their current stat without *EVs, and boom, there's your IV. It
generally is more accurate at higher levels. If you want an online IV
calculator, try Pokefor.tk
How can I tell what my IVs are?
You can't. That's why it's a "hidden" value.
What about eggs? If I keep restarting before an egg hatches, will its IVs be
reset?
No. An egg's IVs are preset when you get it.
*I hope this helps, enjoy!

Have you ever seen a rock formation on the bottom of the desert (rout 111),in the middle of the ocean (rout 105), or in a really puddly area next to a cliff (rout 120). Well if you haven't I'm here to help: Note routs may be wrong. The rock formations are Ancient Tombs! Each of them hold a Ultra Rare Pokemon! There names are *Registeel,Regirock, and My favorite Regice. But there's one problem how do you get in? That is a mystery I partly know. First go to Pacifidlog Town. Then go to the bottom of the currents. You should be on shallow water(light blue water) with a guy in a white suit and lots of rocks. After that surf off the shallow water and the currents will do the rest. Once you reach Shallow water put your rod (super rod if you have one)in the non current water (not inportent jost a good place to catch Sharpedo and to tell that your in the right place. Get off the shallow water and the currents will do the rest. You should be on some more shallow water. get off the shallow water(Ohh! before you do that try using a Itemfinder if you have one near those little light blue rocks you may find something: Note nothing may be there but it's a good way to tell if your in the right place. Get off the shallow water and you should be on a little shallow area. Ones you get on the little shallow area go to the bottom of it and count your steps upword until you get to three then get of the shallow water and you should be in a diving area. Dive down and go to the bottom of the diving area and you shold see writing on the rock. Once you've pressed A in front of the writeing dive up and you should be in the sealed chamber (if you coulden't find the sealed chamber do my derections again and every time you surf/drift to another shallow area look on your Pokenav and go to Hoen Map and check if you past route 134 it should say sealed chamber below it) and if you past it you went to far. Use Dig in front of the writing in the back of the sealed chamber. Now figure out how to triger a earthquake. Wonts you've figured that out go to rout 111(desert) and go to the rock formation it should have a entry in it. Enter the*Ancient Tomb* and go to the center of it. After that go

In route 117 there are to pokemon breeders they carry an insane number of pokemon. Keep on talking to them for a rematch. If they don't want to battle you go to Vendaturf town and come back. Well get your pokemon to lv.60 then take the Elite Four, also some times Wally wants a rematch, if he does your in luck he will have powerful pokemon and even stronger than the Elite Four.

Where To Find Jigglypuff |
To find a Jigglypuff you have to go to Rustboro City and then you will have to go to route 115 and have to surf all the way north and then you will see a little island, go in the island, then you have to go all the way up and you will see a grass and go in it and you will find a Jigglypuff.

Latios is all well and good, but having both is better! You can find Latias at the southern island. You will of course need anohter master ball no problem, just go to lilycove department store and go to the lottery corner. Get 6 matches and you get a free master ball! you can of course catch many other pokemon like groudon using this lottery technique. It's just another way of making an experienced pokemon trainer's life, a little bit easier.
