One way to get mewtwo is defeat the game and then go on to the cave and catch him. The other way (you must have beaten the game first) go to the where giovanni is the gym leader and talk to the guy that asks if you want him to show you how to catch pokemon select yes and watch when he is done talking fly to cinnabar island and go the east coast and surf up along the coast keep going up and down and you will find after a while mewtwo and you can catch him. (Mewtwo will be around level 155) There will also be other pokemon like snorlax and all the rest in the version.

To get 99 of the sixth item, go to your items by pressing start and put something in the sixth item slot. Then go to Viridian City and talk to the by the Gym that shows you how to catch a Weedle. When he ask if your in a hurry say no and he will show you how to catch a pokemon. Then fly to Cinnabar Island and when you apear infront of the pokemon center don't move down or left, just move right all the way over to the water then surf. Next surf up and down. Stay closest to the land and you should run into a Missingno.(WARNING DONT CATCH IT. IF SO THE GAME WILL MESSUP AND DELEAT POKEMON.)Instead run to land and look at ur sixth item it should have a (symbol)9.It means you have 99 of that item. You could do this with nuggets and sell them for 999,999 dollars but if you wont more cash save one nugget and repeat the process. Missingno is part of the system is looks like a bar code when u see it. Missingno is the save, grapic, pokemon control if cought the game will messup! So be careful!

Accuracy Glitch |
for each move, theres a number from 0 to 255 assigned to it (though the smallest number that is assigned to a move is 75 for the 30% accurate one-hit-kill moves)
When a pokemon uses a move in battle, the game coughs up a random number from 0 to 255, and if its less than the 'accuracy number' assigned to the move, the move hits. notice how i said "less than" instead of "less than or equal to". that means, if the accuracy number for 100% accurate moves is 255 (the max it can be), theres still a 1/256 chance that a 100% accurate move (yes, even swift) will miss!
this glitch has been verified by gameFAQs, and was fixed in pokemon GSC (gold/silver/crystal)

Capture Legendary Pokemon |
Give the legendary pokemon an effective status problem besides confusion then get their life down to the last bit of life. Now use you're Ultra Balls or Master Ball. If you're fighting Mewtwo use you Master Ball, but you have to get them in red on the life bar and you have to give them a status problem no matter what if you don't and you didn't copy the Master Ball. Then you can can use Ultra Balls, they work too. Also make sure you have room in your box.

Heres how you catch mew:
quote:
This glitch has been verified by IGN Pokemon Board Mods, so you know.
Restart your game and play until you get HM02 Fly from the house west of Celadon City (or just beat the third gym and get the badge that lets you use fly out of battle and trade pokemon that know fly to the new game).
IMPORTANT!!: DO NOT fight the following trainers:
The Youngster with a Slowpoke (level 17) on the road to Bill's house(Route 25). He is the fourth trainer after you cross Nugget Bridge, standing directly above a female trainer and facing north.
The Gambler with two poliwags and a poliwhirl (all level 22) between Lavender Town and Saffron City (Route 8). He is standing just east of the entrance to Saffron City, facing north toward the door of the Underground Path. Care fully follow the series of steps illustrated below...
Make sure you have a pokemon that knows FLY. Make sure you have a level 5 or 6 pokemon and a pokemon that knows SLEEP on your team. Stock up with pokeballs (Great Balls work the best). Now Save your game before you enter Route 8 since saving after this point will disrupt the procedure.
On Route 8, stand in front of the door of the Underground Path (don't let the gambler see you or you will need to restart where you last saved). Walk down one step and IMMEDIATELY press start. If you succeed, the menu will pop up before the Gambler "sees" you. Go to the Pokemon list and fly to Cerulean City. The Gambler will see you just before you fly away. Your Start button will no longer function. Go north across Nugget Bridge and head east until you find the Youngster described above.
If you walk right up to the Youngster, the game will lock up, so you'll have to let him see you and walk up to you. Defeat his Slowpoke(afterwards your start button will work again), then fly to Lavender Town. Head west into Route 8. As soon as you enter the narrow path, the menu will pop up by itself. Press B to exit. . . and a wild Mew should appear. Mew will be at Level 7 and its only attack will be Pound. Get'em! Once you've caught Mew, you can save without any ill effects!
the pokemon that appears there depends on what the last pokemon's special stat was - the youngster's slowpoke's special stat was 21, so a mew appeared!
to get any pokemon:
1. press start as you go into the gambler's vision
2. fly away to somewhere where you have'nt battled a trainer before
3. defeat the trainer - this unlocks your start button.
4. fly to somewhere where you can find a ditto - like the route to the east of fushia
5. find a wild ditto
6. get a ditto to transform into the pokemon with the right special stat
7. kill or run away from the ditto
8. fly back to lavendar and go west up the narrow path
9. your start button pops up, then you get encountered by a pokemon!
here are the specials you need to see certain pokemon:

|
Defeating Nidorino |
In battle, Nidorino uses Focus energy to increase its power before attacking. Use that pause to attack it.
|
|
Ditto's Cool Trainer Attack |
You must have a ditto, PP ups and other items to increase the ditto's PP.
Put ditto first in your pokemon party. Go to Cerulean City, back where there is a field near Mewtwo's cave. Find a Pidgey, and while beginning to battle, transform into it. The attacks should be Sand attack, gust, and quick attack. Using the select button, switch Gust with sand attack. Defeat the pidgey. The move transform should be replaced with a nameless move with a type called 'cool trainer'. Restore the PP with the PP up. It doesn't always hit, but it makes cool graphics when it does! You cannot restore the PP in a Pokemon center, so you have to have PP ups on hand!

|
Easier Way To Catch Abra |
Required:
- Pokémon 1 that knows Sleep Powder
- Pokémon 2 that knows Disable
- Pokemon 3 Diglet lvl 15 in that order
- 5 Pokéballs (any type, except masterball)
- Space left for Abra (Pc or Party).
Save you're game data, and look for Abra on route 24.
Use sleep powder without fail. and next use Disable without fail too. and next Diglet. use scratch and Abra's Hp will catch by a half. Throw a Ball to catch him, make sure you have 5 Pokéballs or less.
By any chase, if Abra use Teleport you'll have to start over.
Note: Abra is also easy to catch with a Masterball, but if you play fairly, you can use the method above.
|
|
Easy Money |
If you need or just want a lot of money all you need to do is get a nugget then put it in the sixth item spot of you are bag. Then go to viridian city and talk to the old man who just had his coffee. When you talk to him say no. Then fly to Cinnabar Island and surf up and down the right side. You shod come across a Pokémon whose name is missing do not battle or catch him it will screw up you are game so just run from him. Now when you look in you are bag you will have 99 nuggets so just go sell as many as you like and you will get a lot of money.
|
|
Easy Training |
Bring a Electrode to lvl 100 and hold the move, Explosion. Or catch him higher then lvl 100 in Cinnabaar Island. he has also the move Explosion already. Remember: The missingno trick is required. Next, make sure you have enough Revives or Max Revives, copy one of this item will be helpfull. Next, go to the Pokemon Leaugue and start a fight against the first Trainer at the Elite Four.
Step 1: The first thing you must do: is to choose a Pokemon you want to train.
Step 2: Send your Pokemon out for battle.
Step 3: Switch to Electrode.
Step 4: Command him to do the move Explosion. Effect: the enemy Pokemon will sure die and Electrode also, in any chase, your first Pokemon will get all Experience from the Enemy Pokemon, without shring it with Electrode. If not, Electrode dies only, and your enemy will survive but... he has lost a major HP so it will be easy to defeat by your first Pokemon.
Step 5: Use a Revive to heal Electrode.
You can repeat this trick, as much if you want.

|
Get A Shiny Ditto |
First, trade a shiny into pokemon red/blue/yellow (usually red gyrados). now, teach it mimic. go against a wild ditto. it transforms into your pokemon. mimic transform.
then use transform. with luck, it will transform into you again. now catch it! trade it to Gold/Silver/Crystal and you have a shiny ditto (its blue). when you breed shinies, the egg has a higher chance of being shiny.
SO, you can use shiny ditto to get almost any shiny pokemon you want. but you need to hatch like 15 eggs before you find a shiny. sometimes more. but if you are really determined to get (say) a shiny noctowl or something, then a few eggs wouldn't daunt you...
PS i think its like a 1/20 chance of the egg being a shiny. which is a significantly higher than the 1/8,000 or so chance of you finding one normally. and even if you've seen 8,000 or so pokemon, its still 1/8,000 chance of you finding one.
|
|
|
To get Mew you must have every HM on the Pokemon in your party without going on the S.S. Anne (trade from other games) and go to the platform in front of the S.S. Anne. Surf to the right until you see a truck. Push it aside and you will find Mew.

If you get caught in a trap, fly away. If you cant, turn off your game.
|
|
Glitches With Toxic! |
As you should already know, the move toxic induces a poison that increases in strength each turn.
to be exact, it starts out by taking off 1/16 of the opponent's max HP, then 2/16, then 3/16, then 4/16 etc. (except that in the newer versions of pokemon it goes 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and finally a 1-hit-KO, if the opponent survives that long).
if you use toxic then use wrap, bind, clamp, or fire spin ('multi-turn' attacks), the poison activates and gains power at the end of each 'its attack continues!'. this way, you can quickly destroy anything other than poison types (which cant be poisoned, though they are damaged by poison type attacks like sludge). very useful against computer players or slightly dim human players that dont switch out when toxiced (when you switch out, toxic becomes regular poisoning, though it stays as toxic in the newer versions of pokemon, Ruby/sapphire/fire red/leaf green/emerald).
if you toxic, then leech seed, leech seed's power increases as toxic's power increases. but this attack combo is nowhere near invincible. if the opponent switches out, leech seed disappears and toxic returns to normal poisoning.
|
|

1.Restart your game and play until you get HM02. 2. Fly from the house west of Celadon City (or just beat the third gym and get the badge that lets you use fly out of battle and trade pokemon that know fly to the new game).
IMPORTANT!!: DO NOT fight the following trainers: The Youngster with a Slowpoke (level 17) on the road to Bill's house(Route 25).
3.Make sure you have a pokemon that knows FLY. 4. Make sure you have a level 5 or 6 pokemon and a pokemon that knows SLEEP on your team. 7. How To Duplicate Items |
(You must have beaten the elite four and won the championship and have less than 100 of a item) choose a item that has a number to it like rare candy especially and have it as your sixth item on the item screen (you can move it by pressing select and then moving it to the sixth spot) now go to the guy in the city with giovanni's gym that asks you if you would like him to show you how to catch pokemon select yes and watch when he is done talking immediately fly away to cinnabar island and surf along the east or right side coast and surf up and down that side of the island keep surfing until a thing shows up that says Missing M or Missingo (you may run into pokemon but just run away from them) and fight him or run away but DO NOT catch him (it will mess up your data and saved game) and than after you fight him or run away look at your item screen and look at the sixth item and it will have a number and a picture next to it that means you have over 100 of those items.
|
|
|
Cascade badge - Up to level 30 Pokemon will list to you.
Rainbow badge -Up to level 50 Pokemon will list to you.
Marsh badge-Up to level 70 Pokemon will list to you.

|
|
Just For Your Info |
If you go through most of the game and don't get on the S.S.Ann, (it's possible, trust me) collect surf. Come back to the S.SAnn, flash the ticket, and when it goes to the small screen, surf off into the water. You can surf all around the S.S.Ann and go on the the decks. On the top right deck, you should find a poorly drawn truck. There is no reason fr this truck to be there, becuse it doesn't do anything. You can't move it with Strength either. It's probably just something to confuse you.

Leichteres Fangen Der Safari-Pokémon [German] |

|
|
Many Cheats |
You can find find LV.0 or LV.80 or LV.184 Missingno's. He has VERY low defense. If you do want to catch him, he knows Water Gun, Sky Attack, and Water Gun again. Yup, 2 Water Guns. You can catch him adn then after you do, an invisible one will still be there. The invisible one evolves into Ditto. The first one evolves into Kangaskhan. Feed a Missingno a rare candy and it will evolve into a Ditto or a Kangaskhan, depending on which one you caught. Missingno can learn Strength, Fly, and Surf. So you could have a flying, surfing Kangaskhan or Ditto.

|
|
|
(Warning do not try this, it messed up my hall of Fame) To see Missingno(or @$^'M*+ or something) talk to the man who just had his coffee and say no and watch him, then fly to Cinnabar Island and go to the side of the island where it's half land and water surf up and down the right side and you might see pokemon like Pinser or Paresect, eventually you'll see Missing no (looks like a blob), don't battle or catch it! Just run away.

|
|
MISSINGO

Spieler A und B tauschen ganz normal.

Pokemon Over Level 100 |
Fly to Cinnabar Island, walk right. Then Surf up and down on the black line sometimes ypu'll find over level 100 pokemon! I even found a level 132 Mewtwo once and caught it, Pokemon on the black line do not erase your game, except Missingo does mess up your game if you catch him/her. Just to warn you he/she looks like a bar code and is black / pink / purple / white. Just to warn you about him/her.
|
|
|
When you go to Blaine's Gym on Cinnibar Isl., enter, and see those little machines by the trainers that look like cassette tapes? Well, go in front of it and press A to take a pop quiz. If you answer the question right, you won't have to fight the trainer. You can bypass almost every trainer in there this way. I know the answers, but I won't tell. I'll let you decide to see if you're a tue Pokémon master.

Revisit The SS Anne |
Revisit the SS anne:
Go to Vermilion City. Stand next to the boat port and Surf to the left. Go as far down as possible, then go right so that you're a space above and to the left of the sailor. As you press Right again, press Start at the same time (Mew Trick users, you know how to do this). Save the game and restart. When you turn the game on again, use Surf immediately. You should surf through the man. Go down past him to enter the SS Anne.
you'll be able to see the truck, but it doesn't do anything.

Morgen: Taubsi (oft) Rattfratz (rar) Wiesor (oft)
Tag: Taubsi (oft) Rattfratz (rar) Wiesor (oft)
Nacht: Rattfratz (oft) Hoothoot (oft)

Safari On Cinnibar |
That's right. Enter the Safari Zone and walk around a bit. Exit, and then Fly to Cinnibar Island, and Surf up and down the right coast of it, and you should run into Safari Zone Pokémon. Now you can run into Tauros, Scyther, Kangaskhan, Chansey, Rhydon, etc. and hurt them or catch them with an ultraball to make it easier so they can't run from you.
|
|
Stalling Evolution |
To stall a pokemon's evolution, press B when its evolving and you will get a message saying
"Huh? [Pokemon Name] stopped evolving!"
Its particularly good in instances when a pokemon can only learn techniques in a more basic stage.

Super Fang |
Only Rattata (learned on lvl 34) and Raticate (learned on lvl 42). Use the move on a Pokemon to reduce his HP from a half. To defeat or catch it easier. Even if your Pokemon's Attack is low for example.

In the hotel in Celedon City where the woman says its not a pokemon hotel, go to the far right where a PC would be and press A. You should be working an invisible PC.

When using the Cinnabar Island glitch, your name controls what appears in the water. If you call your Trainer GRUBOID, you will find Mewtwo, Abra and Clefable in the water. BLAINE for a trainer name allows you to battle Blaine in the water. GHOST as a name lets Haunter appear in the water.
It is quite complex when you think about it.

go to cinabar have what u want to be duplicated as your 6 th item go to the right and surf up and down youll run into missingno. run dont catch it it will screw up ur game then you have 999 of that item

Unlimited Items |
You probably know this one, but incase you don't, or you need a better discription, I'll tell you. To get your items duplicated, go to Veridian City and go north and talk to th little man who shows you how to cacth Pokémon, and answer NO to hiis question. After his 'lesson', Fly to Cinnibar Isl. and walk to the right edge. Surf up and down the coast of the right edge until you run into Missingno. He's a glitch in the game, so pay no mind to him. Don't catch him, because if you do, there is about a 90% chance your game will mess up. Just fight him or run. Make sure the item you want duplicated is in the sixth slot of your item box. You can have unlimited rare candies, iron, calcium, master balls, poké balls, escape ropes, whatever. Not keys or bikes or rods or anything like that though. Just power ups and balls, and helpy items.
|
|
Weakness Of Bide |
When the move is activated in battle. it will charge for 2-5 turns. And next cause a lot of Damage.but only if you're pokémon attacks. Use a stat-attack (like Tail Attack or Growl) until the bide releases the power. You’re pokémon wouldn’t hurt.
