To have many bugs in your garden and to catch them to sell them to Tom Nook, you need many flowers. Start with buying flowers at Tom Nook's store and plant them in front of your house. Take care of them and you'll have a swarm of bugs to capture! Be careful though! Some bugs can hide in a flower and you can scare them away.
