When a sim dies, the grim reaper will appear. Do a fiddle challenge, lose and quickly buy the guy's life back for 100 simoleons. If you did it right the guy will come back to life and the memorial will be there still.
P.S: It is funny when you are mourning the memorial and the guy your mourning is right next to them.:-D ;-)
P.P.S: I tried this when I was in the second career house, the beach house.
