Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "preyconfig.cfg" file in the game folder. Add the following line to the file:
bind "p""toggle pm_thirdperson"
Then while playing the game, press P to toggle third person view.
