Go to the cheats menu (to get there hold down R1 and L1 and down, circle, up square, down, down, up, up) and type in "lance 1nf" (make sure there is a space between "lance" and "1nf" and make sure it is the number ONE, not I for the last bit. You will get a spear instantly when you press Reload.
