Have healing dice available for Boss battles to recover from their stronger attacks. Use a multiplier dice for all encounters, so that even rolling a 1 will still result in a useful action. Fight in capture battles and use a capture dice to increase your chances of getting a monster. In regular battles, you must get the desired monster as the last one on screen and get an exact damage match.
