The best way to save ammunition is by hitting the enemy in the legs making them fall on the ground. Once they fall run up to them, take out your knife (L1) and bend on them (using the left analog stick) & start slashing them until dead, you'll see some blood ripping out with every slash. Normal enemies can't take more than 4 hits, some takes up to 7 slashes. This trick works on chainsaw man also but with some precautions. Be prepared to backup when he's getting up from the ground. Take out your shotgun, hit him once and repeat the process. Most probably he'll not get up the third time i.e. he'll be dead. The most useful part is that about 75% of enemies will leave some item when killed with the knife. But do not try this when you are surrounded, because for this you'll have to be as precise as me (lol) or else you'll be at risk. Don't try on bosses either. I've searched many sites for R.E. 4 tips and tricks but didn't find any other use of the knife except for breaking boxes and killing snakes. The best use of the knife is the one I mentioned here, you'll agree with me once you try it yourself. The knife can also be used for disabling bear traps. |
