When you've unlocked Extra Ops 29, start the mission. Dispose of the guards and blow up the container. Don't head to the goal just yet. Return to the beach where you started the game (Behind the spawn point) and head up the pier. You get a cut scene where Snake meets up with Trenya, the Felyne Treasure Hunter from the Monster Hunter series. He offers you a chance to go to Monster Island. Needless to say, by the cut scene’s end, you'll have unlocked the Rathalos Quest when you return to the mission select screen. Defeating the Rathalos unlocks the Tigrex, while defeating the Tigrex unlocks the Gear REX, a monster form of Metal Gear Rex from MGS1, the third game in the Metal Gear series. Killing them with an S rank will give you Monster Hunting armor from the MH games. Have fun! |
