Both sides will draw one random card per turn. All cards have an activation time, indicated as the number next to its hourglass. That number of turns must pass after the card has been drawn before it can be used. You can place as many active cards onto the field in a single turn. Cards will only attack whatever is in front of them. If another card is facing them, they will damage it until it is destroyed. If no cards are present, it does direct damage to the opposing character. Runes will activate under specific situations and have varying effects on your opponent.
