| The Pirate Arena matches you up with other players. You will need an upgraded ship and systems to perform well. You can also participate in daily missions that change each day. These missions will reward you with power cells, the game's premium currency. |

| Power Cells |
| Complete Pirate Arena missions. They are similar to tavern missions, except they have to be completed inside the Pirate Arena. They are slightly more difficult because you may have to win matches in the Pirate Arena, which will be dependent on the strength of your ship. If you win, you will receive power cells as a reward. |
