| Shooting |
| Take your time to steady your aim before your first shot. Animals will not be alerted to your presence until that shot is made. Zoom in and out as necessary. The second rifle features an infrared view when zoomed in to help you target specific organs. The brain, lungs, and heart will be revealed. The brain and lungs are the most difficult to hit, and are worth a $10 bonus. The lungs are the easiest to hit but are only worth $5. |

| Switch to your shotgun for close targets. Use it with animals such as bears, which will charge you if not killed on the first hit. |

| Suppression |
|
Missions that require to kill multiple targets are a bit more difficult, as you will be hard pressed for time to steady your aim after your first kill. Guns you can obtain later will have a "Suppression" rating, and are enhanced by silencers. This will reduce the chance of other animals becoming alerted after that first kill.
