To obtain the Ventilator at the very beginning of the game without ever upgrading your lock picking skill, simply take dogmeat to vault 111 and the overseers office as soon as you get him. Once there, make certain the door to the ventilator room is open, then speak to dogmeat, choose the dialog options "fetch", then "items" and - voila! Watch as he comically waltzed right up to the master locked case and plucked the ventilator right out, before dropping it on the floor at your feet! To get the ammo for it, however, you will have to "trade" it back from his inventory.

Infinite Fusion Cores

Progress up until the point you are allied with the Prydwen. You can pickpocket a fusion core from one the Knights inside the ship (make sure you do not get caught). Once you pickpocket the fusion core from the Knight, he/she will come out of the Powersuit, replenish their fusion core and re-enter the powersuit. Once they are inside their powersuit again, pickpocket the fusion core and repeat. (be sure to quicksave after each successful attempt)

Step 1: Find a knight in a secluded area.
Step 2: Pickpocket the fusion core.
Step 3: If successfull, quicksave (just incase)
Step 4: Wait for him to leave his powersuit and go back in it.
Step 5: Repeat Step 1-4.

Surviving Long Drops

Save the game just before hitting the ground after falling from a fatal height. Load the saved and you will land safely on the ground.

Unlimited Purchases

Step 1 - Find a vendor with any type of ammo.
Step 2 - Choose to purchase all of any type of ammo so it gets sent to your side of the screen during the transaction (Don't actually confirm to purchase the ammo)
Step 3 - Click on the ammo that is now on your side of the transaction screen and choose to give 1 ammo back to the vendor.
Step 4 - Repeat the above, but this time give all the rest of the ammo back. (with different ammo)
Step 5 - Send all of the original ammo back to the vendor as well.
Step 6 - If done correctly you should still have 1 of the ammo on your side of the transaction screen that you can infinitely click on to get all of the vendor's caps.
Step 7 - After selecting your single infinite ammo, you can purchase all of the additional ammo that the Barter has created from this process. Do this repeatedly to get caps infinitely faster. Note: This glitch works with ANYTHING as a substitute for the 2nd ammo, as long as you take all of the second item from the vendor.

Unlimited S.p.e.c.i.a.l.

You first need to get Dog (maybe another companion works).
Go back to Sanctuary and if you haven't found it already, there is a book under the crib titled "You're Special". Pick it up, use it.
Now that it's in your inventory, drop it on the ground.
Tell your dog to pick it up, but right before he does you need to quickly pick it up.
If done correctly he will drop the item and it will be in your inventory still (which also dupes any item btw).
Pick up the copy Dog dropped and you should have two "You're Special" books.
Drop both on the ground and one should now activate again.

To get more than two:
1. Drop special book an clone.
2. Drop both books and pick up.
3. Drop 1 book and clone it.
4. Drop all books then pick up.
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until desired stats are reached.

Unlimited Settlement Size

While at a settlement, drop all your extra weapons on the ground. Enter workshop mode, and click to store those weapons in workbench. This will trick the game into thinking it has more space and you will see your size actually drop. Just go back to your workbench and add them back to your personal inventory and repeat the steps again until you have enough space to build more.
