| Acceleration |
| Do not hold the accelerator down all the time. Watch the minimap for upcoming turns, as well as turn signals. Release the accelerator as needed to make safe turns. |

| Brake Assist |
| You can turn on brake assist from the "Drive Assists" section in the "Options" menu. When active, the brakes will automatically activate if you take a turn too quickly. However, you may be able to get faster times by using manual braking. |

| Traffic |
|
During championship races, watch out for the other racers on the track. If you run into them at high speed, you may wipe out, costing time.
