Bosses |
Take note of the various elemental effects a Boss may possess and use it to your advantage. For example, because wind automatically moves pieces for you, keep windy pieces present as long as possible so you can create an easy combo. |
Building System |
This allows you to restore your buildings to your advantage. For example, you can rebuild your weapon shop, potion-brewing shop, etc. You must be a certain level to unlock a specific building before you can purchase them. Grind through dungeons and collect more coins to make this possible. |
Coins |
Return to previous stages that are easy to complete and grind coins. Use them to purchase better weapons, helmets, armor, etc., as well as improving your training area to boost your character. |
Combos |
Try to knock out more pieces with just one combo for a bigger effect. For example, if you only knock out the attack piece you will do 1x damage. However if you match three of them, it results in 2x damage; matching four of them results in 5x damage, etc. This can only be done by creating a horizontal or vertical combo at the same time with the same type of piece. |
General Strategy |
You will battle a number of enemies with piece-matching strategy. After winning battles you can rebuild your own town. You must match three of the same tile required for battling. Tiles have icons with swords which corresponds to your character's attack, a shield that increases your character's defensive skills, and coins that will let you purchase new buildings and unlock new weapons. You can also combine four or more matches for power attacks such as gold bricks, stronger swords, and health restoration bottles. |
Items |
To get new items and equipment, open the treasure chests hidden through each dungeon. They contain swords, armor, shields and other items. You will have a shop in your town where you can spend coins gained from quests and dungeon runs on new items. |
Upgrades |
You can upgrade your potions, armor, shields and weapons. Your weapons are your primary equipment in battle and main source of offense. Shields and armor are correspond with defensive factors. Potions give you various effects based on their type. When first starting, upgrade your item storage so you can store more equipment. The cost is 50 coins per type of equipment to be stored.
