"secret" Spot On Backlot |
It is possible to get on the roof of the center building (also the one with a garage - it has a car in it) in Backlot. Go to the second floor and go up to the wind facing away from where 'Flag B' would be if you were play Domination. Get it to saw "A to |-> (where you can like go on top" So now you should be standing in the window sill. While crouching slowly walk out and look toward the left. You will see a balcony. Jump and hit A twice so you can again activate the "A to |->" while in midair. You will be in the balcony and there will be a ladder leading to the roof. Climb up and you can see practically the whole map. However, there is minimal cover so don't stand straight up, try going prone and after getting some kills go to the middle of the roof and regroup. |
|
A Couple Good Spots |
Bog
On the side where you spawn for offense in search and destroy, if you go around the wall that is on your left as you spawn, there will be a dumpster on fire. Before the dumpster, the ground has a tiny lump (hill) in it. If you sprint towards the lump in the ground and jump at the top of it, you can get on top of that dumpster and go prone and snipe. Enemies cant really see you while you are here because you are surrounded by fire.
Downpour
Go to the area where those two steel canister tower things are, and go to the side OPPOSITE the hole you can crawl through (by the hedges). Face the hedges. On the left should be the edge of the map and there is a concrete wall. If you walk against the concrete wall and all the way against the hedges, you should go inside this big patch of weeds. If you turn around you can keep your sights on the hole and kill everybody who tries to go through it. You cannot be seen from this spot. From any direction. AT ALL.
Bloc
In one of the buildings there is that one room where it is like glowing red and all of the trash and debris makes a hill from the first floor to the second floor. There are things on fire on both sides of this hill. At the bottom (first floor side of the room) there is a little steel barrel on fire. You can go behind that and go prone with an SMG and kill everybody who goes through that room. You can only be seen if somebody sits there staring at you for a while.
For the last two spots, even if your position is given away to your enemies from your kill-cam, it doesnt really make a difference because they cant see you in the first place so if they go to look for you in your spot they can't see you at all so they dont even know if your still there. |

All Ghillied Up End |
Once you have put down Captain Macmillan move to the bumper carts. Plant your C4 and Claymores in a line across the middle and side. You can then hide by the fence and use your sin on a few of the enemies.
|
|
All Ghillied Up: Army Of Enemies |
There are two places in the "All Ghillied Up" mission where you can face an army of enemies or practice your shooting skills. Wait until you have passed the convoy with the tanks and the troops. You will see the two guards throwing the dead bodies in the water. Shoot one of them in the leg and he will alert the rest. The entire the convoy will then come at you. The other location is at the fire escape. Go up to the floor of the fire escape without shooting the sniper. Get a G36C from the top room and a Stinger. Shoot down the helicopter to get an enemy army after you. |
|
All Ghillied Up: Dog Attack |
During the "All Ghillied Up" mission, you will come across a wild dog eating a dead soldier's remains. You will be told to leave it alone, but if you want probably the most difficult challenge in the game, shoot it. You will be attacked by a large pack of angry dogs.
In the mission when you play Cpt. Price, you will encounter a wild dog eating a man. You are told to leave it alone, but if you kill it you will hear dogs growling. You are then attacked by a large pack of them. This is the best way to practice your dog killing skills, but be warned. You must save your comrade, because if he dies you must start over again. |
|
All Ghillied Up: End Of Mission |
after you set Macmillan on the ridge and have placed all of your c4 and claymores go into the shack/ticket booth that is in front of Macmillan and face entirely away from the window facing invading force and go prone and no matter how many grenades the enemy throws into the shack, you will not take any damage..however you will have to neutralize any enemies that see you and are going to shoot you

|
Ambush: Sniping From Out Of Map |
Note: This requires two players. When playing on the OpFor/Spetznas side, as soon as you spawn go left into the little area behind the yellow station wagon. Have one person keep jumping into the corner and the other crawl under them. When the person is completely under the other, crouch and then stand (not at the same time but one after the other). The other person should have jumped over the wall and be out of bounds. |
|
Ambush: Sniping Locations |
When playing the Marine's side (wooden shacks and the field), in the back building with the turret there is a dumpster besides it, against a ground window. Crouch and sit inside the building behind the dumpster. You can snipe out of the window down the side alley. Also in the back building, go up the stairs and turn left. There is a table beside the stairs. Climb onto the table then onto the railing (banister). This may take a few attempts. Jump across the stairs onto the gray ledge with the fencing. From here you can snipe the entrance to the field and the big concrete building on your side.
When playing on the OpFor/Spetznas side (the destroyed concrete buildings), as soon as you start go straight to the hole in the ground. Directly in front of it should be two roadblocks. Go prone (lie down) and look between them. From here you can snipe across the street to the opposite concrete building (helicopters can see you).
When playing on the OpFor/Spetznas side, go down the street and up the stairs on the left. There is a sheet metal ledge that you can stand on. Stand on the edge of the sheet metal and look to the left (back to your spawn point). You can see an opening in the side of the building. Sprint jump off the end into the side of the building. This may require a few attempts. |

Arcade Mode |
To unlock Arcade Mode, beat the game once through on any difficulty level. Arcade Mode itself is split into two options - Full Challenge or Level Challenge - that add extra replayability to the game. |
|
Backlot Sniping Location |
First go to the building that's close to the middle. By the car you’ll see a staircase. Go up to the window that had the wooden thingy with a ladder. Jump on the wind to the wooden thing. Go up the ladder there. peterjas21 submitted this cheat.

Backlot: Sniping From Out Of Map |
Note: This requires two players. Go to the destroyed building and into the room with the roof missing. Have one person keep jumping into the corner and the other crawl under them. When the person is completely under the other player, crouch then stand (not at the same time but one after the other). The other person should have jumped over the wall and now be out of bounds. |
|
Backlot: Sniping Locations |
On the Marines side of "Flag B" is sheet metal guarding the top of a building. Climb the ladder to get to the top. To stand on the sheet metal itself, climb onto a ledge and slowly go back and forth until you see the "Climb" option. Make your way to the ledge besides the building overlooking the tiny enclosure. You will see a white radiator. Jump into it. There are little knobs sticking out of the buildings that look like this.

Better Accuracy |
Once you get the Red Dot Scope addon to your weapons, use it over the ACOG scope. The red dot will not enhance or take away anything and provides a better aimpoint on most weapons. The ACOG scope will actually add more range to your weapon, but take away accuracy which accomplishes almost nothing; especially so for snipers because it takes away range and adds nothing. |

Crash: Easy Challenge Points |
When playing online on the map "Crash", go to the building with three floors. Jump off the top from the ladder to the bottom to get easy challenge points. |
|
Crash: Sniping Location |
On the Marine/S.A.S side, climb up the ladder to the building with the sandbags on it. Jump onto the lamp post. Sprint jump at the blue radiator on the roof beside you. Keep tapping A, you will get on the roof.
On the OpFor/Spetznas side, countersnipe the three story building. Go into the building beside your spawn point. Go onto the brown balcony. Looking across the street into the garage, go left on the balcony to the edge. Stand on the railing and look directly in between the two buildings. You should be able to see most of the three story building's roof. |
|
Creek: Sniping Location |
On the Marine/S.A.S side, for defensive sniping go into the barn. In one corner are some pallets (wooden boards). Climb them onto a ledge that goes around the barn. There are many gaps in the wall that you can snipe from. Note: Helicopters can see you.
At the bottom of the hill, go across the creek. There is a rock with grass on it sheltered by two boulders. Wear a Ghilly suit and snipe from it. You can snipe the entire cliff ledge. |
|
Crew Expendable: Desert Eagle |
In the second large containment room, run ahead of your team. There are two enemies with Desert Eagles who will try to surprise you around two corners, depending on the path you take. |
|
Crossfire Map Secret |
In order to do this, you must be in Old-school mode and at Crossfire. First, you have to go to a building with a huge peice of debree on the third floor. You must go on the second floor and jump on a chair and then jump at the wall and move slightly to the left to land on the bricks. Then, sprint jump to the left of the peice of debree. Then, jump onto the debree and use it to get to the roof of the building. After that, jump toward the insignia on the building next to it, and you'll be in midair! Next, walk around the edge of the building until you come across a cloth hanging from a window. Don't cross it. Then, turn to the right and walk on to the other building. Then, you run to the other building, almost adjacent to it, and jump at the wall, only slightly to the left, but not too much. You'll fall...and die. After that attempt to jump on the builing in the same direction, and again, you land in midair. Then, there is a map bordering fence that you must follow. At the end of that fence, you can sprint jump to the other building. Basically use this for great sniping spots with the nearby 50-cal. |
|
Crossfire: Sniping From Out Of Map |
The online Crossfire map has a very good sniping location. The location can only be reached when you are playing the old school free 4 all section. Notice the building at the very end of the map on the opposite side of the bus. You can get to the very top of the building that is around the corner. First, get to the second story where the chair is found. Get on the top of the chair facing the wall and jump. You may have to run and jump, but eventually you will catch an edge. Then, turn to your right and move your way up the ledge. When you hit the wall, stop, take two steps back, and turn to the ledge on the same level with you northeast. Pick out the spot with no rubble on it. You must run and jump to reach the ledge. If you fail, try again. When you get up there, turn left and note the slanted giant piece of rubble. Run up it, turn right, then jump and catch the ledge then jump again to get up. Turn right and move to the wall of the building. Touch the wall, then turn left and move along extremely close to the wall. Do not go straight as you need to get around the corner and continue until you reach the next corner. Turn right and go straight until you get stuck on the window. Move slightly to the right until you can move forward. As soon as you are past this window sill, go back close to the wall and turn left. Look down at the barbed wire fence. While against the wall, run past this fence. You should drop out of the map but still be able to play. Do not enter the white parts of this area or you will die. Only go out of it if you want to return to the normal map. This area is a good place to snipe players without them knowing you are there. You are not invincible; other players can still shoot you. |

First, get to the second story where the chair is found. Get on the top of the chair facing the wall and jump. You may have to run and jump, but eventually you will catch an edge. You can then work your way up to the perfect sniping position.
On the Marine's side (top of the hill), go into the sniping building (the back building that everyone goes to). Go to the very end. Climb up the ladder, and at the top, stop, turn around, and there will be two blue balconies. Sprint jump onto one. You can climb into either of them. From here you can snipe nearly all of the right-hand side.
On the OpFor/Spetznas side (bottom of the hill), get to the top of the three story building in Normal mode. You will need RPGs. Go to the second floor and climb onto the chair. Jump slightly to the left against the wall to get onto the ledge. Sprint jump onto the third floor. This is difficult to do. Stand on top of the slanted piece of roof, but in the middle of it. A tiny chunk is missing. Take out an RPG and aim down into the street. At the same time while holding LB, aim, jump, backwards and shoot. If done correctly you will be on top of the three story building. Note: Helicopters can see you.
In the destroyed Bistro at the bottom of the hill, stand on the counter (ground floor). You can look out in between the wall and the roof. From here you can snipe the Marine's buildings. |
|
Death From Above: Easy Points |
In Arcade mode you can score easy points by shooting the building with the 105mm or the 40mm. When the building is destroyed you will get 1,000 points. |
|
Easier Mission, One Shot, One Kill On Veteran |
when you position capt. Macmillan quickly plant claymores along the perimeter of the fences, then throw c4 in the fenced in area and run into a booth that is somewhere in front of capt. Macmillan. face away from the open window and go prone (this is a glitch, when people shoot or throw grenades at you it will do nothing to you, unless you can actually see them). when the first claymore blows, trigger the c4 then just wait. then... GET TO THA CHOPPA.

Easy "Mile High Club" Achievement |
|
|
Easy Experience |
To level up quicker than usual, try to use the same gun until all the marksman and elite challenges are completed. They provide huge boosts and will quickly level you up to get new guns. However, do not use those guns yet. Just keep on the challenge until it has completed. The third phase of the challenge usually ends with 1,000 experience points and that will bump you up a rank almost in itself. Also, do not forget about the strange challenges like jumping 15 feet and surviving or falling 30 feet to your death. To get that one if not previously unlocked play the "Countdown" map and jump into one of the open missile silos. You will get instant experience points for simply dying. Also, remember to go prone and crouch to get those challenges as well.
To level up, gain points, and to complete challenges easily, find a TDM game of the map "Shipment", preferably with a lot of people. Make sure you have the Steady Aim/Martyrdom/Stopping Power perks on and choose a gun you want to level up. Shipment is a very small close shoulder-to-shoulder map. Just run around holding down the trigger, taking down as many people as possible. This is very fast paced and you should tick points very quickly.
Playing games such as Sabotage and Ground War will give you lots of experience points because both games offer many kills. Sabotage has a long clock, giving you the opportunity to get many kills or challenges. Also, look for Sabotage on the Wetworks map. That map takes a lot of time up.
Search for a Cage Match game until you become the host and no one else is in the room except yourself. Then, invite a friend so he joins. Start the match and it will be just you and your friend. You can get challenges and rank up easily.
Use the following trick to level up and increase your Kill-Death ratio. Cook and hold a grenade at camping teammates, then throw it at them. Quickly switch teams and the grenade will become an enemy grenade and kill them. You will not lose points for switching teams and can rack up huge kill streaks. You can also get all of the bonuses such as Airstrikes, UAV, and helicopter. Note: This also works when using an airstrike. Call the airstrike on your team, then switch teams to kill them.
Play Headquarters when it becomes unlocked. In this game mode, for every five seconds your team holds the headquarters you will get +5 experience points. If you are on the winning team (a team wins when they reach 250 points), you will get 250 experience points plus whatever amount of kills you get. If you are unskilled and cannot manage to get kills, you will still get points simply for being on the team that holds the headquarters. This is a gamble though, because your team may go the entire match without ever having held the headquarters, resulting in no experience. |
|
Epilogue Mission |
Successfully complete the game and watch the entire credits to unlock the bonus Epilogue mission. |
|
F.N.G.: Obstacle Course |
When Gaz tells you to go to Captain Price, walk out of the building and move towards the fence. Follow the fence. On the left are three men in a crouch. Walk past them to find an obstacle course. You can run it for fun. |
|
Faster Reloads |
Use the following trick if you are playing online or in Carrier mode. When your gun runs out of ammo you usually have to re-load, then cock your weapon. Note: This does not include RPGs, and rifle mounted grenade launchers. This trick makes it so you do not have to cock your gun after re-loading. When you run out of ammo, let your character reload, then quickly sprint forwards a short distance. Stop sprinting and return your gun to the firing position. It will be ready to fire without re-cocking. |
|
Game Over: Have Three Weapons |
When you are in the jeep, you will eventually have the option to pick up an RPG rocket. Pick it up immediately and use all the rockets. Then, swap it back for your original weapon. As soon as the chopper blows up the bridge and the scene where you cannot move fast is triggered, pick up the rocket again. After you are back on your feet, you should have three weapons. |
|
Game Over: M60E4 |
After the helicopter blows up the bridge and you get back up onto the flat part of it, you will see a truck full of soldiers backing up away from you. While the truck is still moving, a soldier jumps out the passenger side door. Shoot him and he will drop the M60E4. You will have to throw a grenade almost immediately. There will be four soldiers that will run out of the back of the truck that you must kill. Note: If you run past the location where the truck stops you will immediately die. |
|
Game Over: SSgt. Griggs's "Success!" Comment |
Killing all three RPG enemies in the pursuing trucks in Game Over results in SSgt. Griggs saying "Success!" |

Grenade Launcher Machine Gun |
After you collect all the Intel go to the level War Pig and find an m16a4 with a grenade launcher. Turn on infinite ammo and you won't have to reload the grenade launcher. It it will have a very high rate of fire too. |
|
Guns With Different Attachments.. |
If you want more ammo for your gun you might have to pick up another person's gun of the same kind into your secondary because it has different attachments. When you pick up the weapon, you will get any ammo that is in the current clip.
ex...
You have an m4 with silencer with only 15 rounds left, you run over to another m4 and get only 10 rounds. However, the m4 on the floor has an acog scope, so you have the ability to pick it up. Switch to secondary and pick up the m4 and then pick up your secondary again. You now have 30 more rounds.
|
|
Have Three Guns |
To do this trick you must have the Overkill (level 38), and the Last Stand (level 8) perks enabled. The Overkill perk should give you two primary weapons of your choice. Play a game and use this class. When you are put into Last Stand, you will get an M9. You cannot choose the pistol you want. Note: You can only use the M9 when you are in Last Stand. |
|
Heat: Hidden Weapons |
In the beginning of the map, everything will be the same except for all the barbed wire. Go back into the church. Go up the stairs and ladder to find some RPGs. |
|
Intel Pieces |
Below is the level distribution list for Intel Pieces, which are enemy laptops full of information strewn throughout the game. There are thirty of them total. The left column is the level in question, while the right column is how many Intel Pieces can be found on that level. Levels with no Intel Pieces are excluded completely.

Mile High Club Mission |
Complete Story mode under any difficulty setting. |
|
Mile High Club: Airplane Reference |
In the "Mile High Club" level, during the opening sequence when a hole is being cut to drop into the plane, somebody says, "Surely you can't be serious". Captain Price then says, "I'm serious, and don't call me Shirley". This is a line from the movie Airplane. |
|
More Effective C4 |
Find cars that have not exploded and knife out one of the windows. Toss a C4 into the car and run to another location. Wait for an enemy to run by the car and trigger the C4. The explosion from the C4 will cause the car to explode, greatly increasing the range and damage of the explosion. This works especially well in levels such as District, where it is difficult to avoid cars. |
|
More Effective Claymores |
To get some easy kills with claymores, place them on sidewalks or at locations that would otherwise seem "obvious". Everyone always expects claymores to be just around a corner or in a doorway. However very few players expect to see one laying out in an open area. One such example is in the Crash level. Near the helicopter, place a claymore on the ground outside where people are always running around. Because they are running, there is a good chance they will run past and trigger it. By the time they realize their mistake, it will be too late. |
|

Reach the indicated rank to unlock the corresponding prestige medal.

Level 2: Blue titanic diamond with star spikes.
Level 3: Emerald in the middle with four lines with circles on the ends.
Level 4: Black circle in the middle with white, gold, maroon, and tan edges.
Level 5: Gold badge with one eye in the middle.
Level 6: Gold eagle in the middle with six lines.
Level 7: Thin cross with wings on the outside and a square gold lined sheet in the middle.
Level 8: Red diamond in middle with a triangle shield on the outside with gold and white trim.
Level 9: Maroon and black Star Of David.
Level 10: Gold iron cross. |
|
Multi-player: Extra Ammunition |
At level 38 in Multi-player mode, you get the Overkill perk (located in the Perk 2 or red perks). This allows you to carry two primary weapons rather than a pistol. Some of the guns in online play can share ammunition. If you are a skilled sniper and prefer the bolt action to a semi-auto sniper, you can share ammo between the R700 (unlocked at level 34) and the G3 assault rifle (unlocked at level 25). Instead of having 40 rounds you will have 152 rounds for the sniper, effectively giving you an endless supply of ammo for the R700. If you are a G3 user, you will gain an extra 40 rounds (two clips). This works both ways. Because you share ammunition, you might not want to get too trigger happy with the G3. Also, there are more than just this combination. Experiment with different guns to see which can share ammo.
When you reach level 46 you will get the M14 assault rifle and you will have the M21 sniper. In the class that you want to have the extra ammo you will need have the M21 and M14 as a weapon. To have those two weapons you must have Overkill (obtained at level 38). You also must have your second perk on Overkill. For the other two perks you can have whatever desired.
Create an MP5 class. For your side arm, choose the M9. Because the MP5 and M9 share ammo you will have 90 rounds of ammo instead of 60. This is a good trick if you prestiged and have lost your Bandolier perk. When you reach level 32, enable Bandolier in this class and you will get 270 rounds of ammo instead of 180. |
|
Multi-player: Getting Rid Of Annoying Teammates |
Use the following trick when you have a teammate that is annoying you during a Hardcore match. First, make sure you do not have Stopping Power. Next, take your pistol and fire a shot into their legs. Chances are, if you make it look like you did it on purpose, they will kill you. This is fine, as you want them to kill you. When they kill you, it will show up on people's screen that that player just killed a teammate. Find the player and shoot them once again. They should again retaliate and kill you. Do this a third time, and the game will auto-kill them, and the rest of the people on your team will assume the player is a Team Killer, and may help you kill him. This should frustrate the player enough to make them leave the game, all without you being penalize. |
|
Multi-player: Headshots |
When you kill another player with a headshot, a metal "ping" sound will play to confirm it. |
|
Multi-player: Strange Running |
In any multi-player match, online or offline, take out your pistol and sprint while looking up. Normally without looking up you will do normal arm motions. However, while looking up you will flail your arms in circles and lean backwards. |
|
Multi-player: Unlimited Ammunition |
Go to split screen mode and select Free-For-All. Have one player choose the Marksman combo (includes the R700 rifle and M9 pistol). Have another player select the War Fighter combo (includes the G36C rifle and the G3 rifle). Have the player with the War Fighter combo kill the Marksman. Take out your G3 and trade it for the R700. If the person has shot a few rounds it will be refilled to the maximum. The R700 holds 32 bullets per round. If you shoot one clip, go back to the body and it will refilled again. |

New Mission |
To play an all-new mission, which is an extra mission after the main quest is completed, beat the game and view the ending credits thereafter. After they've run their course, you will then be given the opportunity to play one last single player mission before all is said and done. |
|
One Shot, One Kill: Canine Help |
When you are on the mission where you have to carry your captain (when you are in the Ghillie Suits),you will find abandoned swimming pool with some rabid dogs at the bottom. Do not kill them. Just run around the edge and do not fall in. When you drop your captain off behind the Ferris wheel and both of you get into position, there will be a patrol after you. When your captain tells you to open fire with your sniper rifle, shoot anyone on the left side, closest to the building with the pool in it. Everyone will hit the deck after one of their teammates dies. The dogs will sense danger, jump out of the window, and start attacking the soldiers. This is helpful as at least four or five of the soldiers die. This also saves ammunition. |
|
Pipe Stand On Wetwork |
Go to Wetwork and onto the stair case in the ship on the front of the ship. Climb the stairs and then face over the stairs at some pipes on the wall. Run and jump on them, but make sure you go towards them. You will now float above the doorway to the stairs. People can still shoot you from under the stairs, but make sure you dont shoot before they walk in - it keeps the element of surprise. This cheat is great for free for all's and works on old school or not. |
|
Pipeline: Hiding In The Tunnels |
When in the tunnels under the buildings, go to the long tunnel from the rail yard to the center of the tunnels. In the long tunnel, get to where a fence covers the pipes. Stand and back up to the fence. Jump, but before landing press B. Lay down and turn sideways. Slide into the fenced pipe area. You can crouch and go back and forth in the fenced off pipes. If you are using a small weapon (Uzi, P90, or MP5), no one can see you until you fire on them. Be careful with grenades; they must be thrown between the pipes. |
|
Prestige Mode |
To unlock Prestige Mode, which is a multiplayer-only mode, you must reach experience level fifty-five. Instead of capping out at level fifty-five, which is the highest level, Prestige Mode allows you to start again from level one. This can be done a total of ten times, giving you ten different icons in in-game lobbies to show your extreme achievement. |

Safehouse: Hidden Weapons |
There will be a church near the start of the mission. Go in and you will see two doors on either side of the entrance. Turn on your night vision and you will see stairs. Go up and you will see a ladder. Go up and you will find weapons. They are the Dragunov sniper and the Javelin missile launcher. |
|
Secret Stinger In "All Ghillied Up" |
In the level,"all ghillied up",after you snipe the look-out in the church tower, mac millan will lead you into that building. instead of going out the door on the left with mac millan, go up the ladder straight ahead where the look-out was. on the floor to the left is a dragonov sniper and two stinger rocket launchers that you can use to destroy the enemy helicopter outside. |
|
Sniping |
If a target is moving make sure to lead it. If you are not making shots try to lead your target more. Also, if you are a skilled sniper try using the M40A3 over the M21. It has a slower reload time and rate of fire, but it has enough damage to kill a target in one shot instead of two or three. It also allows you to be less noticeable with less rounds being fired; so someone else cannot follow the tracer shot back to you. A good setup for the sniper is the Claymore perk, to alert you when an enemy is trying to close in on your rear, and either the Sleight Of Hand or Stopping Power, then Iron Lungs to give you more time to line up your shots.
Select three or four sniping points at every map through which you can rotate if one or two of your spots are "behind enemy lines" or do not offer desirable shots.
Find original locations. Everyone knows the generic spots that were designed as sniper positions on the map. Other skilled snipers will check these spots on a regular basis. One example is the uncovered bridge on Overgrown. Everyone checks that location first.
Do not go for headshots. As a sniper, you will get them, but only going for headshots will leave you with few kills and no ammo.
Do not camp in games that allow Killcams; the sniper or infantry man that you kill will most likely be out for revenge on his next life.
Try to find spots that provide cover (for example, not the middle of the road lying down). Sniping from extremely exposed locations will result in you becoming easy prey for more skilled snipers.
Be aware of your body position. Although you cannot see them, when lying down your legs will extend well behind you. Make sure you lay down so that your head faces your cover and your legs extend straight behind you and are not off to the side. Prone snipers can be killed by shooting them twice in the foot.
When using a Bari 50 Cal., do not point at an enemy then click as fast as possible. Shoot once, then wait for the effects of the recoil to wear off before you shoot again; otherwise you will shoot straight up.
Do not get discouraged. It takes a while to get used to the feel of your gun, the map, and the enemy. Experience is a very nice thing to have on your side as a sniper. |
|
Special Grenades |
Flashbang
Pros: Blinds target, deafens and slows.
Cons: Must be looking at grenade or in its direction to have any effect.
Stun
Pros: Deafens, slows and does a little damage to target even if detonated behind.
Cons: Target can still see where he or she is shooting.
Smoke
Pros: Can temporarily provide cover for getaways, relocation and traps (for example, throw a smoke grenade into a room and plant a claymore in the doorway, then throw a grenade inside to flush him out). |
|
Strange Run |
In a multi-player online or offline mode, take out your pistol and run while looking up. You will run with your arms flailing in circles. It looks very funny on a killcam. |
|
Suicide Bombing |
Hold [Grenade], run around, and watch the show. This is sometimes useful in multi-player modes to take out enemies. |
|
The Sins Of The Father: Lewis And Clark Reference |
Before the ambush begins, look on top of the gas station roof. The men's names are Pvt. Lewis and Pvt. Clarke, a reference to the explorers. |
|
Two People In A Cage Match |
Get in a private chat with the other player. Send them an invite and tell them to bring it up, but to not accept it. Select the cage match then tell them to accept it at the same time. If it does not work, back out and try again. |
|
Vacant Glitch |
On the level Vacant, go to the blown down building, Clim the staircase in the back. jump onto the dryer, Jump back to next floor, jump back again... You are now glitched to a sniper location. you can not be seen here. |
|
