All Ghillied Up: Dog Attack |
During the "All Ghillied Up" mission, you will come across a wild dog eating a dead soldier's remains. You will be told to leave it alone, but if you want probably the most difficult challenge in the game, shoot it. You will be attacked by a large pack of angry dogs.
In the mission when you play Cpt. Price, you will encounter a wild dog eating a man. You are told to leave it alone, but if you kill it you will hear dogs growling. You are then attacked by a large pack of them. This is the best way to practice your dog killing skills, but be warned. You must save your comrade, because if he dies you must start over again. |
|
All Ghillied Up: Easy Intel Pieces |
Go to the location of the first Intel Piece, located at the top of the ladder in the first church. Get the Intel Piece and fall back down. You will die and start out getting the Intel Piece again. The Intel Piece keeps adding to the total number that you have. Repeat this process until you have 30 Intel Pieces. |
|
Ambush: Sniping Locations |
When playing the Marine's side (wooden shacks and the field), in the back building with the turret there is a dumpster besides it, against a ground window. Crouch and sit inside the building behind the dumpster. You can snipe out of the window down the side alley. Also in the back building, go up the stairs and turn left. There is a table beside the stairs. Climb onto the table then onto the railing (banister). This may take a few attempts. Jump across the stairs onto the gray ledge with the fencing. From here you can snipe the entrance to the field and the big concrete building on your side.
When playing on the OpFor/Spetznas side (the destroyed concrete buildings), as soon as you start go straight to the hole in the ground. Directly in front of it should be two roadblocks. Go prone (lie down) and look between them. From here you can snipe across the street to the opposite concrete building (helicopters can see you).
When playing on the OpFor/Spetznas side, go down the street and up the stairs on the left. There is a sheet metal ledge that you can stand on. Stand on the edge of the sheet metal and look to the left (back to your spawn point). You can see an opening in the side of the building. Sprint jump off the end into the side of the building. This may require a few attempts. |

Backlot: Sniping Locations |
On the Marines side of "Flag B" is sheet metal guarding the top of a building. Climb the ladder to get to the top. To stand on the sheet metal itself, climb onto a ledge and slowly go back and forth until you see the "Climb" option. Make your way to the ledge besides the building overlooking the tiny enclosure. You will see a white radiator. Jump into it. There are little knobs sticking out of the buildings that look like this.

Best Weapons In Each Category |
In my opinion, these are the best weapons in each of the category (e.g. Assault, SMG etc)
1. Assault: M4, M14, G36c or AK-47
2. SMG: MP5, MINI-UZI OR P90
3. LMG: RPD OR SAW
4. SHOTGUN: EITHER
5. SNIPER: DRAGUNOV OR BARRET .50cal
Thanks, give these weapons a try and see what you think, remember, this is only my opinion. Add me PSN: MikeyJoe1404 (no spaces) and let me know what you think.:) |
|
Better Accuracy |
Once you get the Red Dot Scope addon to your weapons, use it over the ACOG scope. The red dot will not enhance or take away anything and provides a better aimpoint on most weapons. The ACOG scope will actually add more range to your weapon, but take away accuracy which accomplishes almost nothing; especially so for snipers because it takes away range and adds nothing. |

Cheat Mode |
Successfully complete the game. A "Cheat" option will now appear during game play at the "Options" menu. |
|
Cheat Options |
Collect the Intel Pieces (enemy laptop computers) hidden throughout the game to unlock the cheat options. The number of pieces you have determines which specific cheats are available.
CoD Noir: 2 Intel Pieces. Allows black and white graphics.
Photo-Negative: 4 Intel Pieces. Inverts the colors.
Super Contrast: 6 Intel Pieces. Increases the contrast.
Ragtime Warfare: 8 Intel Pieces. Silent movie mode.
Cluster Bombs: 10 Intel Pieces. When a frag grenade explodes, four more will explode in a cross-shaped pattern.
A Bad Year: 15 Intel Pieces. Enemies explode into tires when shot.
Slow-Mo Ability: 20 Intel Pieces. The game slows to half speed when you melee.
Infinite Ammo: 30 Intel Pieces. Reloads are no longer necessary. This has no effect with single-shot weapons such as RPGs, C4, or Claymores. |
|
Crash: Easy Challenge Points |
When playing online on the map "Crash", go to the building with three floors. Jump off the top from the ladder to the bottom to get easy challenge points. |
|
Crash: Good Sniping Position |
Note: You can do this only in multi-player matches. Go to a multi-player match at the "Crash" map. Make sure it is an Old School match. Go to the location of the helicopter crash. There is a very tall building that should be easy to identify. Climb all the way to the top of the roof. Get up onto the blue box-like "vents". Look over at the little open door where you came out of (if you went through the building, and not up the ladder). Sprint for a brief moment, then jump onto the top of that little roof object. If done properly, you should land on the roof. Jump over onto the fenced part. This is easy because the boundaries are set there, so you cannot fall off. Carefully walk up on the fence where you see a somewhat shorter building. Sprint, then jump. If done properly, you should have landed on a roof with a satellite dish. This roof has a great view over the crash and the people will have no idea where you are. This is a great spot for sniping or heavy gunning. It is probably not as useful when using SMGs. |
|
Crash: Sniping Location |
On the Marine/S.A.S side, climb up the ladder to the building with the sandbags on it. Jump onto the lamp post. Sprint jump at the blue radiator on the roof beside you. Keep tapping X, you will get on the roof.
On the OpFor/Spetznas side, countersnipe the three story building. Go into the building beside your spawn point. Go onto the brown balcony. Looking across the street into the garage, go left on the balcony to the edge. Stand on the railing and look directly in between the two buildings. You should be able to see most of the three story building's roof. |
|
Creek: Sniping Location |
On the Marine/S.A.S side, for defensive sniping go into the barn. In one corner are some pallets (wooden boards). Climb them onto a ledge that goes around the barn. There are many gaps in the wall that you can snipe from. Note: Helicopters can see you.
At the bottom of the hill, go across the creek. There is a rock with grass on it sheltered by two boulders. Wear a Ghilly suit and snipe from it. You can snipe the entire cliff ledge. |
|
Crew Expendable: Desert Eagle |
In the second large containment room, run ahead of your team. There are two enemies with Desert Eagles who will try to surprise you around two corners, depending on the path you take. |
|
Crossfire: Sniping Location |
Play the old school free 4 all section. Note the building at the very end of the map on the opposite side of the bus. Get to the very top of the building that is around the corner. Do to so, first get to the second story where the chair is found. Get on the top of the chair facing the wall and jump. You may have to run and jump, but eventually you will catch an edge. You can then work your way up to the position. Once there, go to your right. Then, jump up onto the object just past the building that you are currently on. Walk around the building, trying to stay as close to it as possible. Then, look down. Make sure you are directly above the barbed wire. Follow that until you get to the building, then jump onto it. Then, just walk across to the other building. Note: You will be floating in air. When you get there, go to the extreme left of the building. Jump and you will notice a glitch -- you are on an invisible object. Once you get there, jump again to get on top of the building. Then, go backwards but do not go off the building. Run and jump just when you get to the front edge. You will now be floating in the air. When you are almost on the fence below, you will fall. When you fall, walk directly along with the fence or else you will fall. You can just crouch and shoot people.
The online Crossfire map has a very good sniping location. The spot can only be reached when you are playing the old school free 4 all section. Notice the building at the very end of the map on the opposite side of the bus. You can get to the very top of the building that is around the corner. First, get to the second story where the chair is found. Get on the top of the chair facing the wall and jump. You may have to run and jump, but eventually you will catch an edge. You can then work your way up to the perfect sniping position.
On the Marine's side (top of the hill), go into the sniping building (the back building that everyone goes to). Go to the very end. Climb up the ladder, and at the top, stop, turn around, and there will be two blue balconies. Sprint jump onto one. You can climb into either of them. From here you can snipe nearly all of the right-hand side.
On the OpFor/Spetznas side (bottom of the hill), get to the top of the three story building in Normal mode. You will need RPGs. Go to the second floor and climb onto the chair. Jump slightly to the left against the wall to get onto the ledge. Sprint jump onto the third floor. This is difficult to do. Stand on top of the slanted piece of roof, but in the middle of it. A tiny chunk is missing. Take out an RPG and aim down into the street. At the same time while holding LB Xbox 360 , aim, jump, backwards and shoot. If done correctly you will be on top of the three story building. Note: Helicopters can see you.
In the destroyed Bistro at the bottom of the hill, stand on the counter (ground floor). You can look out in between the wall and the roof. From here you can snipe the Marine's buildings. |
|
Death From Above: Easy Points |
In Arcade mode you can score easy points by shooting the building with the 105mm or the 40mm. When the building is destroyed you will get 1,000 points. |
|
Easy Experience |
To level up quicker than usual, try to use the same gun until all the marksman and elite challenges are completed. They provide huge boosts and will quickly level you up to get new guns. However, do not use those guns yet. Just keep on the challenge until it has completed. The third phase of the challenge usually ends with 1,000 experience points and that will bump you up a rank almost in itself. Also, do not forget about the strange challenges like jumping 15 feet and surviving or falling 30 feet to your death. To get that one if not previously unlocked play the "Countdown" map and jump into one of the open missile silos. You will get instant experience points for simply dying. Also, remember to go prone and crouch to get those challenges as well.
To level up, gain points, and to complete challenges easily, find a TDM game of the map "Shipment", preferably with a lot of people. Make sure you have the Steady Aim/Martyrdom/Stopping Power perks on and choose a gun you want to level up. Shipment is a very small close shoulder-to-shoulder map. Just run around holding down the trigger, taking down as many people as possible. This is very fast paced and you should tick points very quickly.
Playing games such as Sabotage and Ground War will give you lots of experience points because both games offer many kills. Sabotage has a long clock, giving you the opportunity to get many kills or challenges. Also, look for Sabotage on the Wetworks map. That map takes a lot of time up.
Use the following trick to level up and increase your Kill-Death ratio. Cook and hold a grenade at camping teammates, then throw it at them. Quickly switch teams and the grenade will become an enemy grenade and kill them. You will not lose points for switching teams and can rack up huge kill streaks. You can also get all of the bonuses such as Airstrikes, UAV, and helicopter. Note: This also works when using an airstrike. Call the airstrike on your team, then switch teams to kill them.
Play Headquarters when it becomes unlocked. In this game mode, for every five seconds your team holds the headquarters you will get +5 experience points. If you are on the winning team (a team wins when they reach 250 points), you will get 250 experience points plus whatever amount of kills you get. If you are unskilled and cannot manage to get kills, you will still get points simply for being on the team that holds the headquarters. This is a gamble though, because your team may go the entire match without ever having held the headquarters, resulting in no experience. |

Epilogue Mission |
Successfully complete the game and watch the entire credits to unlock the bonus Epilogue mission. |

F.N.G.: Obstacle Course |
When Gaz tells you to go to Captain Price, walk out of the building and move towards the fence. Follow the fence. On the left are three men in a crouch. Walk past them to find an obstacle course. You can run it for fun. |
|
Faster Experience |
To level up quicker than usual, try to use the same gun until all the marksman and elite challenges are completed. They provide huge boosts and will quickly level you up to get new guns. However, do not use those guns yet. Just keep on the challenge until it has completed. |
Faster Reloads |
Use the following trick if you are playing online or in Carrier mode. When your gun runs out of ammo you usually have to re-load, then cock your weapon. Note: This does not include RPGs, and rifle mounted grenade launchers. This trick makes it so you do not have to cock your gun after re-loading. When you run out of ammo, let your character reload, then quickly sprint forwards a short distance. Stop sprinting and return your gun to the firing position. It will be ready to fire without re-cocking. |
|
Finding Enemies Easily |
On some maps there are specific location that your enemies tend to go to. This only works if you are playing a public match on multi-player online.
Ambush
You can plant claymores in the entrances to the underground tunnel. Also, look for snipers up on rooftops and enemies just running through the map.
Backlot
There is a building with the turret that has a large staircase (and a big hole on the second floor walls). This building is at a corner of the map. It is across the street from the two-story building with an accessible roof (the one with a garage and a car in it).
Chinatown (Map Pack)
There is a two-story building with two rooms on the second floor. One staircase leads up to these rooms. In one room there is a fridge and a couch by a window. This building is often used by enemies to get away or run through. Hide or crouch beside the fridge and you may be able to kill some enemies without them noticing you, because enemies are often too busy running through or sniping.
Crash
Enemies that prefer sniping will go to the building opposite from the blue building (the one with a "balcony" and a ladder leading to the balcony). The blue building (with an almost-wrecked staircase and blue interior) is also a good location to plant claymores because enemies and teammates often fight over that building. Also, the building facing the back of the crashed helicopter tends to attract enemies.
Creek (Map Pack)
Do not bother guarding or hiding in the creek. Barely any enemies go in there. Instead, sneak over to the area with the waterfall. You can also find enemy snipers and "teammate-pursuers" up on the narrow mountain with the sand bags at the top. This mountain is attached to the cave. It also has a trail going across the side of it. To get to this mountain, go to the side of the map with the barn house and the other wooden buildings. Then, go up the short, steep trail that leads to the top.
Countdown
At the sides of the map.
Overgrown
Enemies tend to run around and snipe in the other side of the map (with the barn house and the building with an attic).
Shipment
The corners of the map are sometimes filled with easy-target enemies.
Wet Works
Often enemies run around and shoot people at the sides of the ship. Throwing a grenade there often weakens or kills an enemy, if present. |
|
Game Over: M60E4 |
After the helicopter blows up the bridge and you get back up onto the flat part of it, you will see a truck full of soldiers backing up away from you. While the truck is still moving, a soldier jumps out the passenger side door. Shoot him and he will drop the M60E4. You will have to throw a grenade almost immediately. There will be four soldiers that will run out of the back of the truck that you must kill. Note: If you run past the location where the truck stops you will immediately die. |
|
Game Over: SSgt. Griggs's "Success!" Comment |
Killing all three RPG enemies in the pursuing trucks in Game Over results in SSgt. Griggs saying "Success!". |

perk3:steady aim...
Note:this is a hardcore TD class, if you want to add me or if you have any question, or just want to practice add me xdeathoreox. |
|
Have Three Guns |
To do this trick you must have the Overkill (level 38), and the Last Stand (level 8) perks enabled. The Overkill perk should give you two primary weapons of your choice. Play a game and use this class. When you are put into Last Stand, you will get an M9. You cannot choose the pistol you want. Note: You can only use the M9 when you are in Last Stand. |
|
Heat: Hidden Weapons |
In the beginning of the map, everything will be the same except for all the barbed wire. Go back into the church. Go up the stairs and ladder to find some RPGs. |
|
Hidding Spot |
This is for vaccent only. Where the blown out bathroom is theirs too black file capnets. if your in the right place you'll see the door and the bathroom. this is good because when people come around the corner they don't see you (not for long lol) you can add me for any reason just please state you added from from cheatingdome. |

M14 And M21 |
m14s and m21s are basically the same but one has a scope, if you get acog on both of them then they are identical but the m14 having more ammo. m21s are a usfel sniper rifle as having no recoil you can fire a lot of bullets into the enemy very quickly. |
|
Mile High Club Mission |
Complete Story mode under any difficulty setting. |
|
Mile High Club: Airplane Reference |
In the "Mile High Club" level, during the opening sequence when a hole is being cut to drop into the plane, somebody says, "Surely you can't be serious". Captain Price then says, "I'm serious, and don't call me Shirley". This is a line from the movie Airplane. |
|
More Effective C4 |
Find cars that have not exploded and knife out one of the windows. Toss a C4 into the car and run to another location. Wait for an enemy to run by the car and trigger the C4. The explosion from the C4 will cause the car to explode, greatly increasing the range and damage of the explosion. This works especially well in levels such as District, where it is difficult to avoid cars. |
|
More Effective Claymores |
To get some easy kills with claymores, place them on sidewalks or at locations that would otherwise seem "obvious". Everyone always expects claymores to be just around a corner or in a doorway. However very few players expect to see one laying out in an open area. One such example is in the Crash level. Near the helicopter, place a claymore on the ground outside where people are always running around. Because they are running, there is a good chance they will run past and trigger it. By the time they realize their mistake, it will be too late. |
|
Multi-player: Extra Ammunition |
At level 38 in Multi-player mode, you get the Overkill perk (located in the Perk 2 or red perks). This allows you to carry two primary weapons rather than a pistol. Some of the guns in online play can share ammunition. If you are a skilled sniper and prefer the bolt action to a semi-auto sniper, you can share ammo between the R700 (unlocked at level 34) and the G3 assault rifle (unlocked at level 25). Instead of having 40 rounds you will have 152 rounds for the sniper, effectively giving you an endless supply of ammo for the R700. If you are a G3 user, you will gain an extra 40 rounds (two clips). This works both ways. Because you share ammunition, you might not want to get too trigger happy with the G3. Also, there are more than just this combination. Experiment with different guns to see which can share ammo.
When you reach level 46 you will get the M14 assault rifle and you will have the M21 sniper. In the class that you want to have the extra ammo you will need have the M21 and M14 as a weapon. To have those two weapons you must have Overkill (obtained at level 38). You also must have your second perk on Overkill. For the other two perks you can have whatever desired.
Create an MP5 class. For your side arm, choose the M9. Because the MP5 and M9 share ammo you will have 90 rounds of ammo instead of 60. This is a good trick if you prestiged and have lost your Bandolier perk. When you reach level 32, enable Bandolier in this class and you will get 270 rounds of ammo instead of 180. |
|
Multi-player: Getting Rid Of Annoying Teammates |
Use the following trick when you have a teammate that is annoying you during a Hardcore match. First, make sure you do not have Stopping Power. Next, take your pistol and fire a shot into their legs. Chances are, if you make it look like you did it on purpose, they will kill you. This is fine, as you want them to kill you. When they kill you, it will show up on people's screen that that player just killed a teammate. Find the player and shoot them once again. They should again retaliate and kill you. Do this a third time, and the game will auto-kill them, and the rest of the people on your team will assume the player is a Team Killer, and may help you kill him. This should frustrate the player enough to make them leave the game, all without you being penalize.
If you are the host of a game, press PlayStation Logo to bring up the Cross Media Bar menu. Go to "Friends List", and find the "Players Met" menu. Look there for the player that is annoying you. Press Triangle on their name. Add them to your "Block List" and it should kick them from the game. If you are a host, players on your Block List are unable to play a game with you and are thus auto-booted from the game. |
|
Multi-player: Headshots |
When you kill another player with a headshot, a metal "ping" sound will play to confirm it. |
|
Multi-player: Strange Running |
In any multi-player match, online or offline, take out your pistol and sprint while looking up. Normally without looking up you will do normal arm motions. However, while looking up you will flail your arms in circles and lean backwards. |
|
Multi-player: Unlimited Ammunition |
Go to split screen mode and select Free-For-All. Have one player choose the Marksman combo (includes the R700 rifle and M9 pistol). Have another player select the War Fighter combo (includes the G36C rifle and the G3 rifle). Have the player with the War Fighter combo kill the Marksman. Take out your G3 and trade it for the R700. If the person has shot a few rounds it will be refilled to the maximum. The R700 holds 32 bullets per round. If you shoot one clip, go back to the body and it will refilled again. |

One Shot, One Kill Secret |
Most of the cheats for this say you have to kill someone. But this is what I discovered! It is true that if you kill someone on the left the rabid dogs will come out. But if you miss a person just shoot the place where you left the pool area or shoot a spot near the pool.
|
|
One Shot, One Kill: Canine Help |
When you are on the mission where you have to carry your captain (when you are in the Ghillie Suits),you will find abandoned swimming pool with some rabid dogs at the bottom. Do not kill them. Just run around the edge and do not fall in. When you drop your captain off behind the Ferris wheel and both of you get into position, there will be a patrol after you. When your captain tells you to open fire with your sniper rifle, shoot anyone on the left side, closest to the building with the pool in it. Everyone will hit the deck after one of their teammates dies. The dogs will sense danger, jump out of the window, and start attacking the soldiers. This is helpful as at least four or five of the soldiers die. This also saves ammunition. |
|
Playing Dead |
Lay on the ground and continuously pressing Triangle. When pressed fast enough, your character will appear to be dead on the ground. Other players will occasionally walk past, assuming you are dead. This gives you a chance to jump up and knife them, or to shoot them in the back. |
|
Prestige Mode |
Reach level 55 to unlock Prestige mode. This is a multiplayer-only mode that starts you again at level 1. You can repeat this ten more times. |

Safehouse: Hidden Weapons |
There will be a church near the start of the mission. Go in and you will see two doors on either side of the entrance. Turn on your night vision and you will see stairs. Go up and you will see a ladder. Go up and you will find weapons. They are the Dragunov sniper and the Javelin missile launcher. |
|
Scopes |
When you have unlocked the acog and the steady aim perk, you can put the acog scope on the weapon with the steady aim perk. When in game zoom in and the sight will be almost perfect! I use it on the M4 but you don't have to. but that's your choice (sorry for spelling errors) |

Sniping |
If a target is moving make sure to lead it. If you are not making shots try to lead your target more. Also, if you are a skilled sniper try using the M40A3 over the M21. It has a slower reload time and rate of fire, but it has enough damage to kill a target in one shot instead of two or three. It also allows you to be less noticeable with less rounds being fired; so someone else cannot follow the tracer shot back to you. A good setup for the sniper is the Claymore perk, to alert you when an enemy is trying to close in on your rear, and either the Sleight Of Hand or Stopping Power, then Iron Lungs to give you more time to line up your shots.
Select three or four sniping points at every map through which you can rotate if one or two of your spots are "behind enemy lines" or do not offer desirable shots.
Find original locations. Everyone knows the generic spots that were designed as sniper positions on the map. Other skilled snipers will check these spots on a regular basis. One example is the uncovered bridge on Overgrown. Everyone checks that location first.
Do not go for headshots. As a sniper, you will get them, but only going for headshots will leave you with few kills and no ammo.
Do not camp in games that allow Killcams; the sniper or infantry man that you kill will most likely be out for revenge on his next life.
Try to find spots that provide cover (for example, not the middle of the road lying down). Sniping from extremely exposed locations will result in you becoming easy prey for more skilled snipers.
Be aware of your body position. Although you cannot see them, when lying down your legs will extend well behind you. Make sure you lay down so that your head faces your cover and your legs extend straight behind you and are not off to the side. Prone snipers can be killed by shooting them twice in the foot.
When using a Bari 50 Cal., do not point at an enemy then click as fast as possible. Shoot once, then wait for the effects of the recoil to wear off before you shoot again; otherwise you will shoot straight up.
Do not get discouraged. It takes a while to get used to the feel of your gun, the map, and the enemy. Experience is a very nice thing to have on your side as a sniper. |

Special Grenades |
Flashbang
Pros: Blinds target, deafens and slows.
Cons: Must be looking at grenade or in its direction to have any effect.
Stun
Pros: Deafens, slows and does a little damage to target even if detonated behind.
Cons: Target can still see where he or she is shooting.
Smoke
Pros: Can temporarily provide cover for getaways, relocation and traps (for example, throw a smoke grenade into a room and plant a claymore in the doorway, then throw a grenade inside to flush him out). |
|
Suicide Bombing |
Hold [Grenade], run around, and watch the show. This is sometimes useful in multi-player modes to take out enemies. |
|
Tank RIDE |
On the mission where you escort a tank go to the hill of trash and get the Dragonuve. After that get on a car that just exploded then jump on a tank. But be warned, if you are on tank when the tank moves keep off the back or you will die. ALWAYS STAY ON THE PART THAT TURNS.

|
Televisions Never Go Off |
When throwing regular and/or flash grenades at televisions that are on, they will at times still keep working even though they have been blown up. |
|
The Best Class |
In my opinion this is the best possible class:
Main gun: M4
Pistol: USP.45
Special Grenade: Flash
Perk 1: Frag x3
Perk 2: Stopping power
Perk 3: Martydom
Hope this helps. To add me on PSN im kemphall. |

The Sins Of The Father: Lewis And Clark Reference |
Before the ambush begins, look on top of the gas station roof. The men's names are Pvt. Lewis and Pvt. Clarke, a reference to the explorers. |
|
Three Perks |
When you choose an attachment for a weapon it takes up the first perk. To stop this, select your perks then choose your weapons and attachment. You will then have three perks and a weapon attachment. |
|
Turning Televisions Off |
Go to any television and hold Square to turn it on or off. |
