---OPTION Menu---
From the title screen you can select the Options menu.
-The first option is to set the day.
-The second option says cover the sunsensor to calibrate what the darkness level is
(sun sensor calibration).
-The 3rd option gives you a list or scenarios to scroll through and guides you what
to do. Like a tutorial.
-The 4th option when selected gives you information about the sun sensor. It is not really
a selectable option, as it is a message that is continued if you press left, not different
options. It simply explains how the sun sensor works.

- Frames -
This affects the type of shot you use. They are all usefull so its hard to stick with
just one. the order here is based on the inventory screen, not in the order you will
find them.
kenji1349 says The left grade is damage, the right is stun ability.
A high stun ability lets you stun enemies easier if you can't get a back shot.
Shooting an enemy from the back will do more damage and most likley stun the enemy.
From the front will do less. Shooting from the side usually counts as closer to the
front or back when calculating damage, they dont really have a 'side' so aim accordingly.
-Multishot (default):
Press attack to fire a short range projectile, hold attack for a wide beam
blue - E
red E E
white C D (advanced visual style)
gold A C (temple with Sol/yellow rune)
-Narrow beam (looks like a compact wide beam):
This frame acts somewhat like a lightsaber. Using a sweeping 'cutting' motion seems
to be more effective then holding the beam into an enemy.
blue C -
red B -
white A -
gold S - (temple with redorange rune)
-Wide beam (looks like a crossbow with a sensordisk on top):
You will automatically stand in place and spin with this weapon. Energy
drain can be high but it can be helpfull when destroying an immortals coffin
blue D -
red C -
white B -
gold A - (temple with purple rune)
-Shotgun (has a wide gun nozzle on the tip):
This weapon is usefull only at a near point blank range, It can however shoot
over walls if the target is within range. Its a favorite of many since the
damage is high and the energy drain low. works very well against boulder/golem enemies.
blue B C
red A B
white S A
gold S S (temple with green rune)
-Semi-Automatic (has the tip of an uzi):
Hold fire to stand in place and fire 3 shot bursts. Range is medium.
watch your energy levels!
blue D E
red C E
white B D
gold A D (temple with blue rune)
-Ricochet (looks like an orange default frame with a red dot on the scope)
This weapon will bounce off walls, nice for getting around corners. Has exceptionaly long
range.
grade C C
-Seeker (looks like a purple default frame with a blockish scope)
This weapon fires long range projectiles that will chase after the nearest
enemy.
grade C C (temple with blood red rune)
-Sonic (looks like a mixed blue default frame with a sensor-like scope)
This will cause practically 0 damage on an enemy. When a shot hits a wall however, it will
emit a sound. Use this to distract your enemy's away from your position, or guide them to a
specific location.
grade E E
- Dark (looks like the white default frame)
You need to combine this with the Dark lens and Dark battery to make it work. It acts like
a multishot weapon.
grade S S (complete the game 2 times, maybe hard mode, to earn this)

(Ib)
- Lens -
This controlls what element type of damage you will cause. Some types are stronger vs certain
creatures.
A 'Level up' will upgrade your current lens. You gain Levels from destroying creatures.
Look closely at the picture and you'll notice upgraded lens' are bigger. Wide beam weapons
will be wider and damage output is higher per level (max 3)
Primary:
Yellow - Sun (immortal killer)
Red - Fire (melts ice, burns wood)
Blue - Ice (dissolves fire)
Green - Earth (grows plants)
Purple - Wind (breaks stone)
Secondary: (no level ups)
White - Battery (shows surplus battery charge)
Light purple - Null (no energy use, push damage)
Extra:
Black - Dark (earned from end of game 1)
------------

- Key items -
(named because of the 'keyhole' symbol on the items screen)
These can only be used at world level. Your sunlight symbol will change to a locked symbol
when used. Possible effects are to lock your current level of light/darkness.
Gata (Japanese wooden shoes):
Ghost doll happy:
Ghost doll, sad, inverted:
The 3 different ones I have found all appear during or after an Immortal, The gata shoes can
also be found in the temple.
Vampire: shoot the spinning swords into him using the sun lens. he will lose his cape eventually.
The cape will appear as the ghost doll, sad, inverted.
Golem: I believe completing this stage with an 'S' grade earns you the 'gata' shoes in one of
the chests after completion.
Final: Just before the credits if you let Sunshine die you will earn the Ghost doll, happy.

- Mixing -
The roots of the great tree are very fertile. mix any two food items to plant them and grow
new items.
Here are some of the rare mixes possible:
- Red + Blue mushroom = pumpkin (other mixing's are possible)
- Red 'koolaid' jar + pumpkin = '?' (This will grow into the Pineapple granade.)
- Carrot + (item) = (same item) - These mixes are said to help tree growth.
Progressing further in the game opens up more roots to plant in (max 5)
The tree has 5 branches and 5 roots. the health of the branches depends on the roots. Grow a
plant until it fully blooms to help the tree grow. Shining your sunlight, earth, flame, ice
and possibly dark beams on a growing plant will help them grow faster. It takes time, and the
element needed depends on the plant (mushrooms do not grow with sunlight), but they will grow.
Some plants grow fast even while you are away. after a flower fully blooms you can pluck it or
let it grow on its own. Your lens will not have any effect at this point. If you leave them
long enough the plant will become a shining seed worth multiple of the grown item. If left
for too long it will rot and become a normal plain brown seed.
Branch develpment only happens when you leave/re-enter the screen.
If a branch is not fully devloped you will need to grow more from the roots.
When it is all complete talking to the girl will grant you the Yellow/Sol rune

---Grade Elements---
End of stage screen:
- 1st time taken to complete stage.
- 2nd times you were spotted (red ! only)
- 3rd continues used.
- 4th gun charges from sunlight. (yellow pixies and items do not count)
You can come back through a stage and pick up items without affecting your grade. However
elements will add to your Total game score.
Final Score:
-total time playing.
-total continues. (using the blue card to reset a room counts as a continue.)
-Times spotted. (counts the whole game. including replayed stages and the temple.)
-total sunlight charge (charging your weapon from batteries or from pixies do not count,
charges earned from the bank also do not count.)
To earn an S rank Complete your first game at your leisure. Do any searching you want to now.
You can reuse most of your wealth when you replay so use it to your advantage. Stock up and
rush through your second game with lemons/banana's. Recharge with only your batteries, Play
away from sunlight as much as possible. Use sunlight grenades for immortal slaying, and avoid
the kaamos curse, Avoid all tresure chests if possible because they will slow you down.
Do not replay stages and skip past any you can. Playing through all the stages may be of benefit
but you also risk adding to any of the other 3 elements. My time when I did this was 3:56 And I
did earn the 'S' rank
---Warp points---
Outside of each immortals lair is a glowing symbol on the ground that can warp you
to another lair. If you have not yet reached a location you cannot go there.
The symbol you see is based on the amount of sunlight available.
The color/shape of the symbol corresponds to your destination.
Sunlight level / Location
none green/pyramid vampire
1-2 red/spiral golem
3-4 blue/arrows garm
5-6 purple/spiral lamia
7-max dark red/cross final
---Battery Charges---
The White Lens it seems has the abilty to store any charge beyond the limit of your current
battery. Along severel stages are places where you can use this charge to power your weapons.
Bank: store your excess charges here. each day it accumulates interest. max is 999. the rate of
interest is random.
Loan: (same as the red card item) Press 'A' to accept the terms. Then left or right to add
charge to your current weapon at the cost of your Battery supply. Best saved for an
emergency when you have no charge remaining and no way to recharge.
---KAAMOS---
On the 3rd map (after fire/ice) on the far left of the map is a sort of hidden stage.
After completing this stage DO NOT proceed into the room behind the Undead. If you open the
treasure chest there you will find that some shining goo falls on you. Its a sort of venom trap
left for you by the Immortal of this map. Your body will become dark and you will not be able
to absorb any sunlight, all the outside teleportation tiles will not work for you and you will
not be able to reach the Immortals lair. To remove the curse you will have to save your game
and wait for about 5 days to pass in the game. If you have already destroyed the Immortal on
this map that treasure will be safe to take.
---Pixies---
You will find them as sparkling green area's. When you shoot into the area, a crystal will
reveal itself and crack open. The color is random although they are clusted together in small
groups. The pixies can be absorbed with 'A' and are:
Green: Health
Orange: Sunlight charge
Red/Black: Dark - Removes sunlight charge.
---Silver Coins---
The coins will unlock the SOUND option in the main menu. 30 in all. They are found only in
green chests.
The stage where the KAAMOS curse is can only be seen from the map with 0 sunlight

17- Next to the locked undead room you'll see 4 zombies staring at eachother. in the center
of them is a hidden chest.
18- KAAMOS (left2x-hidden) Make sure you have at least 1 sunlight level to access the hidden
paths here. After you unlock the door on the right fork you will find this in the next large
room.
19- (up) after passing the battery recharge room. you'll see a zombie near a large crystal. get
to this area. to the right of the brown chest is the hidden one you want.

the right.
21- (right 2x) at the fork take the left most path. find the stair down. its in 1 of the 3 chests
22- Immortal- Just after you duel with your twin in the next area look to your far right under
the branches of a tree for this cleverly hidden chest.
23- (lower left 1) after unlocking the 2nd door, go up the lift to your left for this chest.
24- (lower left 2) in the room leading into the undead take the door up the stairs. the hidden
chest is just before the large crystal on the left.
25- (lower right 1) In the room where you earn the first key is a chest.
26- (lower right 2) In the room where you earn the second key is this chest. If you do not gain
it there find your way down to the 4 crystals and activate them all.
27- (upper left) After the undead boss backtrack then continue right, open the barred door and
go inside for the chest.
28- (upper right) Two steps out from the bank will find you a hidden chest.
29-
30-
---Temple Runes---
Upon first entering the temple in map 2. You will be granted a rune. What determines the
rune gained is still speculation but is believed to equal the same condition as the first 4
warp points. The number of floors the temple has differ from 12-22 floors. Why this is,
is still not certain. The lower position rune is gained from beating the game. while the
upper position rune is gained from restoring the tree. The Center final rune is probally
obtained when you gather them all.
Note: The prize for each rune is mentioned in the weapon frames section. But no one has yet to
gain all the runes for themselves. Any information, or a translation of the 4 panels on
the left wall/dialogue when first entering, would be of great help.
---Hidden Treats---
In two of the undead stages you'll see a narrow passage behind closed walls. At certain levels of
sunlight there will be a gold colored tile and sunlight shining down. When you enter this room
there is a zombie.. adjust your sun to turn off the tile and light so he can pass the sunlight
safely, turn the sun on so that he has the path to walk on before he falls, you'll gain a green
treasure nearby with a nice treat ^^
