PALLET TOWN
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Go next door and get your starter Pikachu. Face Gary, and hope you win.
Now go on Route 1 and go north to Viridian City.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
VIRIDIAN CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now, go in the PoKeMart and head back to Pallet Town, give the Oak's
Parcel to Prof. Oak, get your PoKeDex. Now go back north to Viridian
City, head west to Route 22, and face Gary, after you win, go back to
Viridian City, and head north through Viridian Forest to Pewter City.
Now, go and catch a Mankey or a Butterfree.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
PEWTER CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Train your Mankey or Butterfree to Lv. 12 and face Brock. He has a
Geodude and an Onix. Use confusion, or karate chops against them. Get
the boulder badge and head east, face those trainers, and go north to
Mt. Moon. Remember to catch a Geodude, and buy that Magikarp from the
traveler. Do your best through Mount Moon, and then head out and east to
Cerulean City.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
CERULEAN CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
First, have your Pikachu and Gyarados at Lv.20, so he will be ready to
face Misty's water-types. After you beat Staryu and Starmie, go north on
Nugget Bridge. After you beat the 6 trainers on Nugget Bridge, go and get
your Charmander. Now beat those trainers, then head east. After you beat
all those trainers, go into Bill's lab. Talk to him, and help him, and
he will give you a S.S. Ticket! Now head back to Cerulean City. Now, go to
the northeast corner of Cerulean, go in the house, go out. Now beat the T.R.
guy, and head south to Vermillion City. Beat every trainer on the way. Now,
go on the S.S. Anne (your Pikachu should be around Lv.30) and defeat Gary,
talk to the captain, and you will get cut. Teach it to
Ivysaur/Venusaur, or Bellsprout.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
VERMILLION CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now, cut down the tree, next to the gym, solve the "trash-can" puzzle,
and face Lt. Surge. Use your Geodude/Graveler, and defeat him to get the
Thunder badge. Head back to Cerulean, and head east. Now, go through Rock
Tunnel (get flash on Route 2). Defeat all the trainers and go through to
Lavender Town, head west through the Underground Path, to Celadon. Go to
T.R. Game Corner, and defeat Giovanni, and go down to face Erika.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
CELADON CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now, defeat Erika using either your Charizard or Gyardos. Now get your
Eevee in Celadon. Evolve it into a Jolteon. Now go to the PoKe Mart and get
some fresh water (6th floor). Now goeast and go to Saffron City. Now you
head east to Lavender Town. Go in the Tower, and go up to the top. But
before you make it, Gary will face you once again. Have your Gyardos at
Lv.30, Geodude at Lv. 30, Jolteon at Lv. 30, and your Oddish at Lv.14.
Inside, catch a Gastly/Haunter. Now when you reach the top, get the
PoKeFlute. Now, head west back to Saffron City.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
SAFFRON CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now, go to Karate gym, and defeat the gym leader there. Now, choose your
fighting PoKeMoN now. (I suggest Hitmonchan) Now, go in the Silph Co.
building. Man, this place is huge! Now, go to the 5th floor, and find the
Card Key. Now, go down to the 3rd floor, and use your card key to open one
door, and go into the teleporter. Now, get ready for Gary. Your Jolteon
should be at Lv.52 by now. Your other PoKeMoN should be at least Lv.30.
Beat Gary, and get a Lapras from a Silph guy. Now go to the teleporter and
face Giovanni. Beat him, talk to the Silph president, and get the Master
Ball, now get out of Silph, and head to the PoKeMoN Gym. Use your Lv.55
Jolteon to cruise through all of her PoKeMoN. Now, go on Cycling Road
(West of Celadon City) and go down to Fuschia, but try to catch the
Snorlax and get HM02. Must have a bike. If you don't have one, go south
of Lavender to Fuschia. (Try to catch the Snorlax).
-----------------------------------------------------------------
FUSCHIA CITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Go and use your Lv.55 Jolteon (or higher) PoKeMoN and beat Koga. Go to the
Safari Zone and get Surf and Gold Teeth. Give the gold teeth to the
Warden and get Strength! Then, fly back to Pallet Town, and surf down
from Pallet to Cinnabar Island.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
CINNABAR ISLAND
-----------------------------------------------------------------
In Cinnabar Island, get the secret key, beat Blaine with any of your PoKeMoN,
and fly to Viridian City.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
VIRIDIAN CITY/ BEATING THE GAME (last updated Oct.30, 2000)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Go and defeat Giovanni, then head west to face Gary. All of yours should be
all at least Lv.60 by now. Defeat Gary, go through Victory Road. Now all
your PoKeMoN should be about Lv.70 (or at least 3) and you should have only
played for 5:30. Anyway, defeat the Elite Four, and catch Mewtwo in the
Unknown Dungeon! Now you're done! You just need to catch all 150/151 and
raise em' all to Lv. 100! Get Gold & Silver and then get a total of 250!

COPYRIGHT & CREDITS
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I would like to thank To Be DipFRSM (AIM name), who introduced me to PoKeMoN.
I would like to thank the following people:
Yoyo Yoshi (swiftdestiny2006@yahoo.com)
Nintendo, Creatures, GameFreaks, Satoshi Tajiri
Roma emu for posting this up on Pokemon Gym Advance
Do not e-mail those people asking for PoKeMoN questions. Most of them
only contributed very small things to the FAQ, except me, Nintendo, Creatures,
GameFreaks, and the creator of Pokemon, Satoshi Tajiri, and I am sure they
wouldn't like to be bothered with silly questions, espically if those
questions are already answered in this FAQ.
Feel free to email me for help in any PoKeMoN game but if you do, please make
sure it is not in the FAQs already.
With the number of sites this FAQ is featured on, it is almost
impossible to do anything but read emails and fanfics, while maintaining
good averages in school, and running a website. If you think otherwise, I
dare you to try it yourself. Sure, I will probably still answer most of the
emails, but, from now on, I am not responding to all emails.
DO NOT ASK ME FOR ANY ROMs, any email asking for ROMs will be deleted.

because I worked long and hard on it. If you want to, make your own
guide, but don't take anything fromthis one.
Keep looking for updated versions of this FAQ all the time at
Nintendo Paradise International, my own web site. If a webmaster of one of
the other sites would like to recieve updates of this strategy guide to be
put on their website, email me and I'll be happy to do it. I dislike
answering old questions that were already answered in newer versions but
weren't made availible to people that read un-updated guides.
This FAQ can only be found in one of the following places:
Nintendo Paradise International
Pokemon Gym Advance
If you find this FAQ in any other places besides the websites
listed, e-mail me and I will take action and punish him/her to the full
