I have a golden Groudon a golden Latias and a red Gyarados and those are all on ruby version.

No you don't need to play 60 hours simutaneously to get a Shiny Pokemon. And BTW Its called a Shiny Pokemon. I played 24:88 and I caught a Black Machoke in Cerulean Cave!
