The Best And Worst Moves :
there are so many moves in the world of pokemon i thought i would tell you all what i think to be some of the most effective and the most useless:
top 5 moves
1.toxic- the ultimate attack, unless the opponent can cure their pokemon, there is no way to save it. the poison damadge dobles each turn quickly making mincemeat of even the most stubborn opponent, couple this with the 'detect' and 'protect' moves and you can just sit back and watch the enemy die a slow, painful death.
2.hyper beam- an attack with a base power of 150 and an accuracy of 90%. although you have to recharge after using it and forfeight your next turn, the enemy usually won't have survived any way. the best way to utilise this attack is to use it in a tight spot as a last ditch effort to win, because if the attack does'nt kill them your dead anyway.
3.fury cutter-chopy,chopy. fury cutter doubles it's power every time it succesfully strikes, even when used against a poemon with a resistance to bug types, this move can dispatch them with relative ease.
4.swords dance- using one or two of these at the start of a battle can see you shredding the opponent to pieces, you can only use swords dance three times before your attack is maxed, which means by the time you've used two, your attack has already doubled.
5.destiny bond- a simple way of eliminating opponents with huge defenses or hit points. the opponent will faint when it defeats your pokemon if yours faints on the turn this move was cast.
it works against all types and although your pokemon must die for it to do anything it quickly removes powerful enemies.
the five worst(excluding splash cos we all know it does nothing anyway)
1. mud sport/water sport- tied for 'worst-move-ever' Mud sport reduces the power of electric attacks and water sport
does the same for fire type moves, "has some uses" you may think? wrong, mud sport is only learnt by ground types who are immune to electric attacks anyway and also learn damadging attacks that are super eeffective against electric types. water sport is only learnt by water types who have a resistance to fire and also will kick the shite out of them with a few water guns, these two moves have no practical application in this game. pants
2.imprison- when cast ,this move prevents the opponent from using any attacks which the caster also knows. there are over 250 different attacks in the game, the chances that the enemy knows even one of the same moves that you do is slim to none. and even if it does work the enemy still has three other attacks to use. stinkier than gargonzola cheese.
3.swagger- what the hell is this? your practically helping the enemy. swagger confuses the opponent but also sharply raises it's attack power. with only a 50% chance of actually hurting itself in confusion and a chance of snapping out of it the very next turn, all this move does it power up the enemy. selfdestruction.
3.helping hand- this technique only works in a two on two battle. when it is cast it increases the attack power of your ally by 1.5x, it may help but surely using both of your pokemon to attack the opponent at the same time would deal more damage, and it can only be used during two on two battles. has very limited uses. stupid
5.substitute-uses a quarter of the casters hp to create a dummy to take the damage for them. this move is only useful if you know the opponents next attack would do more than 1/4 damage to you, otherwise youve just wasted a quarter of your health. many times i have defeated opponents who use this move by not even hitting them, they constantly use substitute to protect themselves but use it so many times they do not have enough hit points left to use it again, leaving them wide open. a waste
well those are my top five and worst five moves, hopefully you will learn to use or avoid these attacks to prevent fro mlosing your battles. |
