When you play it's better to use D.K ,Link or Young Link, because when D.K pounds on the ground it's hard for the wireframes to get near you Link and Young Link do the spinny thingy. The last wireframe is not like the others he/she is like a normal character it does not get knocked out easily.

| 15-Minute Multi-Man-Melee [German] |
Um das 15-Minute Multi-Man-Melee zu überstehen, wendet man vielleicht am besten folgende Strategie an:
Den Fighting Wire Frames ausweichen und so oft wie möglich hüpfen. Am besten nimmt man einen grossen Charakter (z. B. Donkey Kong), geht links oder rechts auf eine Plattform, wartet bis 3 oder 4 Frames neben einem sind, hüpft 2 mal in die Höhe und mit <Rauf> + <B> rüber-hubschraubern. Die Frames folgen nach, man wartet auf der anderen Seite auf sie und geht wieder rüber. Während dem Fall lohnt es sich auch ab und zu <Runter> zu drücken, damit man durch die Plattform fällt und etwas Zeit gewinnt.
Wenn man keinen Fighting Wire Frames von der Spielfläche schlägt, werden auch keine Agressivere folgen. Diese Strategie benötigt einfach Ausdauer und die Trophäe ist bald euer.

You can do this cheat with Link, Bowser, Fox, Falco, Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Pichu. Choose Fourside as the stage, then choose Bowser to go against. Go to the right side of the building and set the computer players to 3. Get them near the wall, then go in front of the first one that is against the wall. Use your combos (repeatedly press A, but if you're doing it with Bowser, hold B). You should get really high combos.

This is in 1-P mode, Home-Run Contest. Choose Pikachu, change the hat if you want. It was probably luck, but I got 70.8 ft with the magicians hat on. Step right next to the white punching bag. Hold down the left toggle stick and press B. If done right, it should go flying at least over the 60 ft line. No bat required!

Unlock all bonus fighters to unlock the single player All-Star mode. This mode allows you to fight all game characters, but with less health items.

Every character in All-Star mode has a specific stage you fight them in, even if it is not their stage. Eventually, you will fight two opponents at a time, and then three opponents at a time. Use the following trick to find out what stage you are going fight in. On the little path with the three hearts and the teleporter to the next fight, there are small TV screens that appear behind the teleporter. These screens show you what opponent(s) you are fighting next. When it shows two opponents, you will be in the stage of the one on the left. When it shows three opponents, you will be in the stage of the opponent in the middle.

Den Adventure Modus mit irgendeiner Figur durchspielen. Die erste Welt (die Mario Welt) muss man mit einer 2 in der zweitletzten Zahl bei der Zeitanzeige beenden. Die Zeitanzeige sieht dann etwa so aus: (##:#2:##)
Anstatt gegen Mario muss man nun gegen Luigi kämpfen. Hat man den kompletten Adventure Modus durch, muss man nocheinmal Luigi besiegen und danach kann man ihn anwählen.
Marth
Sobald man jeden Charakter einmal angeählt hat - sei es in einem VS Kampf oder im Adventure Modus etc. - fordert einen Marth zum Kampf heraus. Besiegt man ihn, kann man ihn anwählen.
Mewtwo
1. Spiele 700 mal einen VS Match.
oder
2. Mindestens 20 Stunden SSBM spielen. Es dürfen keine Pausen (mit Start) eingelegt werden. Es zählen nur genau die Minuten, die man real gespielt hat. Wenn man die Game Cube ausschaltet, muss man wieder bei Null Minuten beginnen.
Mr. Game & Watch
Mr. Game & Watch wird man als letzter anwählen können, denn vor ihm müssen erst alle anderen Charakter freigespielt werden. Sind alle freigespielt einfach den Classic oder den Adventure Mode durchspielen. Mr. Game & Watch muss man anschliessend im Kampf besiegen, um ihn anwählen zu können.
Pichu
1. Spiele 200 mal einen VS Match.

2. Event Match Nummer 37 durchspielen.
Roy
Einfach den Adventure oder Classic Mode mit Marth ohne Continues durchspien. Roy im kampf besiegen, um ihn anwählen zu können.

After unlocking the Sound Test (portions of this trick can be done before unlocking the Sound Test, however), you can change the music that plays on some of the stages. When selecting them, hold L or R until the stage loads. Each human player competing in the match must also hold L or R. The stage's music will change. This trick works on the following stages:
- Infinite Glacier: Icicle Mountain (Retro theme from Balloon Fight for NES)
- Termina: Great Bay (The theme of Lost Woods from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64)
- Hyrule: Temple (A remix of various themes from Fire Emblem titles)
- Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Island (Stage 1-1 and world 1 map remix from Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES)
- Kanto: Pokémon Stadium (The Trainer Battle theme from Pokémon Gold & Silver for GBC)
- F-Zero Grand Prix: Big Blue (A theme from Mach Rider for NES)
- Eagle Land: Onett (The theme of EarthBound)
- Mushroom Kingdom OR Mushroom Kingdom II (The Fever theme from Dr. Mario)

| Always Get Desired Pokemon |
|
Go to training mode and continuously select 'pokeball' from the menu. Whilst throwing them, look out for your favourite pokemon to appear, and STOP on that one. After it has done its move, go to 1-p adventure or classic mode, and the first pokeball you open will be the one preveously found on training. After this, the rest of the pokeballs you open are random. A good trick to use in this way is to do it with mew, because you get bonus points for seeing her.

| Always Win |
|
Play as any player in the player 1 place and have the computer be Luigi in the player 3 place and dont have anybody playing as player 2 or player 3. Then strat at the Dk level with the three platforms and dont move. Then right away every time Luigi will jump at you and fall off of the edge and will die and you will win every time.

| Another 15 Minute Melee Strategy |
Ok, if you just want to beat the 15 min melee and you don't care how, use DK. Position yourself under the the right or left lower platforms and face the center of the board. Hold down on the control and press B repeatedly for the duration of the challenge. DK will pound the ground continually and the wireframes won't stand a chance. Now, as the enemies blast off the screen, DK is pushed in either direction, so repositioning occasionally is important in avoiding being pushed off the board.
15 minutes of this was rather tedious, but I was able to beat this melee on my first try using this method. I suffered less than 150% damage and took out over 700 wire-frames.

| Another Combo With Roy And Marth |
To do this combo, it is recommended that you use a big character, like bowser. Now do this: SideB, then up B then Side B again and then either do up B or Down B, I prefer up B because you bring them up.

| Another Home Run Guide |
|
This way requires no smash moves until the last hit with the bat. Choose Ice Climbers and do a Forward + A attack to pin the sadbag down. If it flies, restart. Now do a strong (not smash) Up + A, if it flies high then restart. Now press B as it lands, do another strong Up + A. Pin it down one last time and swing. It should go over 450m/1450ft to get you the Paper Mario trophy.

Many people have trouble hitting the sandbag over 1,500 meters. Yoshi is the best character to use for this contest. Jump above the sandbag and then press down A to dish out damage. Do this about four or five times and then swing the bat. The sandbag will go extremely far. If your an expert at this, you can probably get the sandbag to 140% damage. I got over 2,000 meters with Yoshi which is quite hard to do. You will also get the paper mario trophy and Yoshi's Island.

You'll have to fight Luigi; defeat him and you can play as him.

Hold the Y button to zoom in as close as you can.
Using Down on the Directional Pad, move the camera up until you see the bottom of Daisy's crown.
From there, moving the C-Stick down will let you see through the hair, revealing the eye.
From that position, you can move the C-Stick around to get different angles of the eye.
Freaky! Since the third eye was removed in later versions of SSBM, it was definitely unintentional.

| Dangerous Cheat |

This is to CenturionZ_1, who wrote about never geting the same trophy. I think it's a good cheat but it's also very dangorous, taking your memory card out while the game is still on and then trying to put back in could cause you to lose all data on your memory card and that would kinda suck. So if i were you i would not try that any more.

| Defeating 15 Min Melee |
|
This unlocks the past stage of Kongo Jungle. It is quite hard but you need to know one thing, the male wireframes are aggressive and will attack you while the female ones are territorial. Simply deal with male wireframes until you are left with all female. They rarely attack you and if they do put up a weak shield. If they don't stop attacking KO them and wait for another female to spawn.

| Destroy Corneria Lasers |
|
Play as Kirby and go to Corneria. Next, run to the left side of the ship and jump off then keep jumping untill you land on top of the lasers. Now keep hitting "Down A" untill the guns are destroyed, but be careful because as soon as the guns are destroyed you will fall unless you jump back on the ship.

But, there's a little known fact: you can have a shock running through you if you can do this. __First, perform the PK Thunder. Make sure you don't touch anything with the Thunder. Then, have an enemy hit you while you shake on the ground (controlling the Thunder). You will cancel the attack. Now- look at Ness. He will have a shock running through him occasionally for a good 30 seconds. I am currently rechecking to see if the backfire can EMPOWER Ness.

On 'very easy' on one player mode (All Star Mode, Classic) you can very easily defeat people on the early stages. Just use the up and B attack and the person you are fighting will be sent flying.

With any other character it seems impossible to defeat all the Kirbys before you are pummeled to death and knocked off. Even though Dr.Mario is the equivalent to Mario his third jump attack (B + Up) is much more powerful. Use this attack and you will instantly send the Kirbys flying off the stage.

Don't attack each other and wait until you go into sudden death. in sudden death, both players go down into the tunnel underneath the temple ruins. Wait until the bombs start falling to make sure you're safe, and if you are, pause and leave the game system on for about one day, but make sure something has the joystick on your controller pushed to the left or right. (This will keep the image moving so the TV doesn't get screen burn) After a day, finish the match and if the game has been left on for long enough Mewtwo will challenge you.

During Cruel Melee, to get easy KOs against the wire frames, choose Roy and jump off the edge (stay in jumping range of the platform as you will need to get back on). Now, listen carefully. If this maneuver is done correctly, the foes should crowd around the edge. Now, use Roy's blazer attack (B+up). For some reason, the foes go flying up into the air really high, usually killing them. This helps to get the Mr. Resetti trophy. I have gotten 10 KOs in Cruel Melee!

The hardest event there is I think. Harder than Event 51 as you only have one life. There are ways to beat the hands though.
Always attack Crazy Hand (the left one) first. Anticipate their attack and jump away. If they try to poke or grab you jump then quickly fall.
You can either use Yoshi's midair down+a attack constantly or Pikachu's thunder constantly. Roy/Marth/C.Falcon/Ganon all have Smash Up moves that can hit them from the ground. Kirby is also good with his transform.

|
A good hint for event match 50 is when your choosing your character choose Donkey Kong. When your fighting, attack only the left hand, then master hand. The best attack to use is the up+B attack. I suggest jumping once before using the attack.

To get an extra jump you need to use Captain Falcon or Ganondorf. When you get sent flying use you're midair jump. To get the next jump use Falson Kick/Wizard Foot. You have an extra jump.

To get extra lives on multiplayer battles choose vs. mode, then melee. Choose your character and add someone else onto your team. Then choose your opponents and start the battle. If you die before your teammate, press start and provided your teammate have more than 2 lives you take one of them and carry on as usual with their life. | Great Grappling: |
|
You can more than double the length of Samus' grappling beam. Press the 'Z' button, then start hammering up and down on the control pad, while also pressing Z repeatedly. It might take a few tries, but the result is a grappling to reckon with. While using Samus' extended beam, press 'L' to make it home in on your enemies. It won't work quite like your usual grappling beam though. You'll need to manually press 'Z' when the end of your beam is on an opponent to reel them in. Unfortunately, if you fall of the screen, you'll need to pull this trick off again to have an extended grappling beam.

Isn't it annoying when you get a trophy you already have in the lottery. Here's how to make sure it never happens again.
First back up your save game file. Then go into the lottery window. The game will save. Now pull out your memory card and put in the coin. If the trophy is not new, put back in the memory card and reset. You will still have all your coins and the old trophy will not be there. When it asks you to load the game press yes.
If it is new, put back in the memory card, exit lottery and overwrite save. There, guaranteed new trophy!

When your fox on the home-run contest, grab the bat really quick and start shooting the sandbag as fast as you can, and when time just about runs out hit it with the bat, it should soar over 1000 feet.

| Home Run Contest: Beginner Tips |
Some of the strategies provided for the Homerun Contest are extremely complicated and, especially for beginners, can just about do your head in. Here is an easy way to get well over 450 metres: Player: Yoshi Strategy: As soon as you hear "Go", run to the left and grab the bat, then do a side-tilt smack with the bat (NOT a Smash). The bag should not go very far. Then jump DIRECTLY above the bag and use Yoshi's arial down A move. You should rack up at least 22% damage every time. Do this three times (four if you're quick enough). Now, jump above the bag and do a foward arial A attack (Dino Dunk). This will send the bag upwards. By this stage the clock will be at about 2 seconds, so be quick with the next step. Turn around so you are facing the left, and are situated directly below the bag. Time your final (Smash) swing of the bat, so that the handle of the bat hits the bag and not the tip. If done correctly, when the bat connects with the bag, it will not make the distinctive "ping" sound, and the bag will fly backwards. This is called a "No Ping Hit" and it sends the sandbag much higher than a regular hit. Depending on wether you performed the flutter kick three or four times, the bag should sail over 400-450 Metres. You will get the Paper Mario trophy and Unlock the Yoshi's Island stage from the Nintendo 64 Version of Super Smash Bros.

Different voices and sound effects occur when the language is changed to Japanese...
- The announcer says "Battle royale" instead of "Melee" on the Vs. character select screen.
- The announcer says "Get the coins" instead of "Grab the coins" on the Vs. character select screen.
- Jigglypuff (Purin) has a completely different voice.
- Each character has a different crowd that chants their name.
- The Pokemon that emerge randomly from Pokeballs which say their name have different voices.
- Fox's taunt is random, which one being his English one, and one being in Japanese. Why wasn't the English one simply removed, though?

Here are 3 cool things you can do as Kirby:
1. Suck in Mr. Game and Watch so you can use the Chef move. Jump off the edge and use Chef. If you die just as your saucepan is at it's highest you'll come back as a normal Kirby holding a grey saucepan.
2. Be near the edge and grab an opponent. Move left or right so Kirby jumps off. Kirby will die but so will the enemy normally. This is best used on Donkey Kong.
3. Suck in the enemy. Press A and Kirby will shoot out the enemy as a star. This is best used at edges or near detonating explosives like Banzai Bill, an Electrode or a bomb-omb.

This isn't really a code, but it is really useful when you need to win battles. Todays Subject:Kirby, Kirby, and a little more Kirby.
Ok. Most people think Kirby is about his famous B button attack called copy.It copies the victims characteristics and their B button attack. But what is the mystery of this attack? Kirby also gains more stats when he copies a specific person. Sheik for example, gives kirby speed and stealth.
Anyway, Kirby is not just based on that attack. the other B attacks: Sword slash(B up), Hammer bash (B left or right), and Transform, which turns Kirby into a heavy rock(B down).
Once again I must say that when using Kirby you must use a variety of moves. Puffing up and flying then using Transform, for example, is a move that can knock your enemies into the stratosphere. B attacks are not all you must use tko master Kirby. The only way to win with Kirby is to use B attacks and the following A attacks: Spin kick(A up) spins Kirby while he kicks. Using this while jumping, Kirby can launch himself higher and higher the more you use the attack without stopping. Eventually Kirby will land. Kick, and rapid kick (A left or right) is and easy way to start a combo that will leave your enemy in pieces. A down will dodge attacks while you use a trip-kick.
Since Kirby is very very very acrobatic, especially when he puffs up and literally flies. This still can only be used with a limit. Kirby will eventually use up all the air in him and float down. when you jump, dodging either with L or R will dodge an attack.

I would recommend attacking Crazy first; he's tougher. (Note: if they use the grab and get you, very quickly tap the control stick in all directions and press all the buttons over and over again, you will break free-Note: It is easier to break away from Master Hand then Crazy Hand). I would reccomend playing Classic on Normal- good training. For match 51, hardest battle in the game BY FAR. Giga Bowser, Mewtwo, and Ganondorf on Final Destination with three lives each. Good Luck! A-Up attacks on the ground or air are quite effective, but you will probably get to use it once before they get you. Training? Verses Mode. In Adventure/Classic 1 Player modes, you will face giant and metal foes. The easiest way to defeat them is, without a doubt, to rack up heaps of damage. Here's an easy way to do so. Choose Mewtwo as your character. In the Metal Character/Metal Bros. stage, the characters will start on the top platform. As soon as the announcer says "GO", press B to charge up Shadow Ball. The character(s) will drop through the platform, straight on top of the charging Shadow Ball. Their weight prevents them from bouncing off the ball like a regular character would, and in no time, they will rack up heaps of damage, making them vulnerable to a KO! Also, the attack has a high priority, and the shocks occur in very quick succession, so they can't air doge their way out of it. The same pricipal applies to giant enemies. Just wait for the opportune moment...

If you are a Samus Pro, you will no doubt (or should), use bomb jumps to recover where appropriate. However you lose height as you move horizontally, which can be detrimental to a recovery attempt. This tip works particularly well on the Final Destination stage (I found you can do about 5 bomb jumps). When you get within "Grappling Beam" reach of the stage, do an upwards air-dodge, then, when you reach the peak of the dodge, use the Grappling Beam. This will give you heaps more height. It is however important to note that once you reach the peak height of the air-dodge, if the Beam is not used before you start to fall, this will not work. Timing is everything...

This is just a cool tip to use on the "Brinstar" Stage. The level consists of the three small platforms and the main bottom ground. There are some sort of tentacle creatures holding the two side platforms to the main bottom ground. If you attack these repeatedly, they will eventually break, allowing the platforms to swing upwards. Also, one the main bottom ground, about three fifths of the way across, there is a cluster of some sort of organism. If these are attacked, they will eventually dissapear and the Ground will split apart. Note: Both these effects wear off and the creatures regenerate after a while.

| Samus Tips |
Tip 1. Normally, when Samus' Grappling Hook is deployed, there is a shocking amount of lag, leaving you open to enemy attacks (or even a dreaded KO.) To counter this, dash before pressing Z. Not only will it quicken how fast it is deployed, but Samus will also retract the grappling beam much faster.
Tip 2. On the Lylat System level "Corneria", on the far left ledge, if you use Samus' Grappling Hook to recover, sometimes you have to drop to the end of the grappling hook and just dangle there to avoid enemy attack. However, this leaves you vulnerable to the twin blasters on the ship. To eliminate this problem, jump down under the ship and use Samus’ screw attack to land
on top of the blasters, then use her down smash attack several times. This will destroy the blasters for the duration of the match. Note: These special trophies have a [SMASH] icon next to their name. You can unlock them at any difficulty.

First, use Jigglypuff. Fly over Giga bowser and just when you touch him use your rest attack (B+down) and he will go flying. It usually takes about 2 times to knock him out. Repeat this until he dies. Then Gannondorf and Mewtwo will be there with 3 lives. Run through the stage back and forth looking for items to throw at them and soon you will win.

To do such, stand next to the Sandbag and TAP the X or Y buttons to jump, then use the Down + A move to hit the bag for around 30% damage each time. Do that about 4 times to get the bag up to around 100-110% damage. Since you won't have much time left, get the bat and use a Smash hit to send the bag flying. If you did it all well enough, you should make it well over the required distance.

If so, this is where 100-Multi Man Melee helps. Choose a character like Pikachu, Link, Mario, DK, or Bowser. The best characters when it comes to eliminating all of Team ____ in Classic.

Okay. A lot of the time, you can auto-kill the freaks in 100-Multi Man Melee. Just hit them and ' BAM. ' They're gone, I can even do this with Ness! In Sudden Death, it's always 1 Hit KO.
Continuously do 100-Multi Man Melee for about. . five more rounds? Plug-in your other controller. KO the player once, and then KO yourself on the other controller once. Call your friend over, pausing it until he/she arrives. Hopefully you'll see a difference, I definately did.

Then use Mario's Taunt. Mario will be MASSIVE!! P.S The opposite of this applies as well - the best character to use for this is Pichu. Do a Tiny Melee, and turn all items off excluding poison mushrooms and, if you want, bunny hoods. Both these methods allow fo great custom matches as well...

Then quickly turn the control stick to the oppisite side and keep on doing that until you get to the top. 2.To get the target inside the of wood and stone stand on the wood platform on the right side of the surrounded target. Jump then double jump and while you are in the air do foward+B to throw his boomerang then quickly go down to the second sideways V shaped platform and the boomerang will slice threw the wood and target.

of a pun, because Krystal is kind of a mage that can control all forms of crystals and gems. You probably don't know this because she doesn't use this power (Or magic, or
psionic, or....) in any of the games or comics. Her powers are; B) Krystal Assualt Rifle: a rapid fire machine gun that fires crystals, B+Left/Right) Krystal Blade: creates a crystal blade as big as her while she charges forward at an insane speed, B+Up) Krystal Komet: Krystal encases herself in a crystal orb and shoots herself in the direction that you point the control stick, B+Down) Krystal Sheild: Krystal encases herself in a crystal orb that deflects things. Every time something is deflected, the sheild cracks a little until it breaks and Krystal is stunned. So basicly she's Fox, except when she uses Krystal Blade or Krystal Komet, she leavs a trail that can be used for a makeshift platform that disapates in a few seconds.

To unlock the Sound Test, you must open all secret stages. This means you must also beat all 51 Events (since you get Final Destination from the 51st), and unlock all secret characters (since you need them to access the higher number events).

To unlock starman use starman item 50 times in a single vs. match then u will get a mesege it will say congratulations you've unlocked all playable charecters get to fi-wait a second aaaaaa then another mesage will come up again it will say starman here congratulattions youve lost all your playable charecters hahahahahahaha! now you will not be able to play but wait go to event 51 it will be called all star mach of doom it will show the charechter you play as it's starman it's an easy event though you vs. all 25 charechters as starman he is realy good and when you beat the event and then from there on in you get all charecters back and event 52:event match of doom where you can always play as starman.
oh yeah also starmans moves:b-use,b-down-charge invincability,b smash-charge heal,b up-float up in the air and move werever you want for 10 seconds.and use means use what
you have charged heal charge he glows with pinkish-red and use will revive 50% health invincability charge you will glow gold and when used 10 starmen will jump out of u one
by one giving u star man invincability each time it nears the end another starman jumps up and lands as soon as it ends basicly starman invinciblility x10 is a move!

green bowser (oringinal suit) and when the match starts press abxy at the same time then jump 7 times then bowser will go all weird he will get all green execpt for his hair turn flat and he has a weird raor.

There are two possible ways of unlocking Luigi. The first one is to play VS Mode 800 times. The second way is to beat the first stage in Adventure Mode (Mushroom Kingdom) with a two in the seconds (like 22, 52, 23). You will then see a cutscene with Mario getting pushed out, and you will fight Luigi.

Most players are probably already aware of this trick, but I've decided to post it anyway... In the Venom stage, you can attack players on the other side of the ship. The structure of the Great Fox shouldn't physically allow this to happen, but I'm sure that physics in the Lylat System aren't what we're used to.

| Victory Dance |
|
After you've won a match in VS mode, your character will be shown against a black screen, performing one of three random celebration actions. By holding either 'B', 'Y' or 'X' immediately after the match has ended, you can control which victory screen is shown. For example, to see the spinning sword motion as Roy, hold the 'Y' button.. To spin your blaster as Fox, hold the 'B' button.

On Event Numbet 23:Slippy's Invention, you have to fight Fox and Falco, while they are invisible and you are not. Being invisible doesn't stop them from being located, though...
When you're playing Event 23, just press the Start Button and press R or L. The camera should go from you to the "invisible" Falco and Fox!

| Young Link Target Test |
To get the first Target jump and use "Up+B".
TO get up the tube jump against a wall and then go the other way and you shall do a wall jump. Keep on doing wall jumps until you're at the top. Then Take out a bomb (Down+B) and jump and throw (A) the bomb. It should hit the Target if it doesnt then keep on trying.
To get the one inside that box go right above it and use a boomerang (Right+B) then Walk/Run to the platform below it and the boomerang should go right though the box hitting that Target.
The one in the box with the opening door thing either jump in and get it or use you're boomerang (Right+B).
To get one above I would jump but you can use you're Boomerang (Right+B).
To get the Target inside the room with a little opening stand on the thing that looks like a sideways "v" and do a Fully-Charged Arrow. It should hit that Target.
To get the one between the to Sideways "v's" just jump down and get it and get back up.
To get the two on the platform next to the box just use you're sword.
To get the last one go onto the box and take out a bomb. Now run double jump and trow the bomb. if you didn't get it use you're Up+B to try and get back to stage. If you didn't get back to stage then start over and keep on trying.
And that is how you do Young Link's target Test.
Note: Beat it in 45 seconds (I think) you get a trophy)
